Recently we have been investigating claims if Kong Hee has once again resulted in plagiarising someone’s work.
We took the time to put together a video that compares Kong Hee’s sermon ‘Motion Sensitive God’ to Jentezen Franklin’s sermon ‘Motion Sensitive God’.
The plagiarism is constant throughout the message.
Not long after we made the video we noticed that Jentezen’s video was pulled. Coincidence? We managed to screen grab the source.

I watched 4 minutes, that’s enough for me. Someone is copying someone, especially to go to that length with the lights.
Dont know why you would want to plagarize someone elses sermon. Isnt it better to spend time with God yourself and allow Gods spirit to teach us and then share it with others to help them
Did Kong Hee, at any stage during his message, acknowledge that he received this teaching from Franklin or any one else…..because if not….Kong Hee is nothing more than an actor and a fraud and I can’t believe that with the stunts that he and Sun Ho have pulled over these last number of years why people can’t see it….it’s not subtle but rather it’s outrageous!
We have downloaded the original sermon. Nowhere in his sermon does he acknowledge that he received his teaching from Franklin. That was the full sermon.
Wow. Wow. Just….. wow.
The height of irony of all of this is that FRANKLIN originally plagiarized this message from a UPCI preacher named Wayne Francis – from a sermon Wayne titled “Motion Activiated” (he preached this at a youth conference I put on in Southern California in 2008, LONG before Franklin ever preached his version, nearly word for word)
Franklin has notoriously plagiarized several UPCI preachers conference sermons, most recently my friend Tim Gaddy’s sermon “Three Altars”, which Tim preached at the UPCI national youth conference in August, and Franklin has been preaching since since September.
Here is Tim’s message: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHRdrxfpyRI
And here is Franklin’s: https://vimeo.com/76076339
Get past the individual intros, and it is a word for word copy of the sermon body. Man, if you are going to plagiarize another man’s sermon – least you can do is cite your source.
So the height of irony is you have a man “plagiarizing” a sermon that was already plagiarized to begin with. Unreal.
Thanks for the info; I mean they’re both wrong if they’re gonna both plagiarise aren’t they really.
Cya
Does any one else feel like you are fed up with preachers being such try-hards and glory mongers! We are supposed to be following what Jesus constantly taught and lived….EVERYTHING HE EVER DID AND SAID POINTED TO THE FATHER AND GAVE THE FATHER GLORY…..it’s just not about us!
I just love the simplicity and purity of the Word and am forever grateful to Jesus for rescuing and delivering me, and giving me a way to come to the Father without the stain and guilt of my past….to have real relationship!
These pride filled, arrogant, so-called men of God are insulting the Name of Jesus….I get so angry about this!
I also heard Kong Hee repeat a message by John Dawson (President of Youth With A Mission) titled “Father Heart of God” without acknowledging the originator.
Kong Hee has been caught out plagiarising a number of times now; apparently his moral compass doesn’t have a needle.
I wonder why Phil Pringle didn’t advise Kong that he was meant to speak words he heard from God, rather than stealing other people’s ideas – after all, Kong has said that he learnt everything he knows from Phil. And isn’t Kong meant to be “spirit-filled”?
Anyway, looking on the bright side, Kong will soon have lots of spare time on his hands, which will hopefully allow him to come up with some original material. Ten to twenty years in Changi should be enough time to write a boatload of “sermons”, I would think.
I think that is hilarious seeing as how Jentezen Franklin has plagarized several sermons from Wayne Hintley and Mike Williams and a few other Pentecostal preachers. Guess what goes around comes around.
I heard Kong Hee plagiarise a sermon at a C3 singles event in 1997 from a book of sermons compiled by Tim Storey.
