“If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him” Deuteronomy 18:22
Your best guess now?
Prophecy is an exact prediction of the future because it comes from God. Not your best guess now. We ask you – do Phil and Chris Pringle insert their own teaching, and peddle their own flights of fancy, from their carnal hearts when they “prophesy”? Are they prophesying correctly under the power of the Holy Spirit, or are they operating under a spirit that is not from the Lord?
On a recent episode of “Fighting For The Faith” Chris Rosebrough compares this duo’s “prophetic” utterances in light of scripture and basic logic.

The body of Christ are to be grateful for the ministry of watchmen willing to speak plainly and call out these false prophets & prophetesses, holding their feet to the fire of God’s Holy Word. This should be done for the preservation of precious faithful believers whose own testimonies are held up to the scrutiny of the world.
An earlier false prophecy given by Phil Pringle:
“I believe New Zealand is about to have in 2005 a revival that will eclipse any kind of revival it has ever had in the history of that nation. I believe by the power of the Holy Spirit New Zealand is about to have a touch from Heaven. A touch from Heaven and the finger of God is poised in the heavens. I see it I see lightening bolts coming out of the Long White Cloud. I see feet running through the streets to get to meetings. I see things happening that have never happened before people running to church in New Zealand. I see them running through the streets of Wellington. I see them running down and the wind is blowing. They are pushing against the wind they are trying to get to churches. There are people running in Auckland down Queen Street to get to church. People are running They are desperate, some are full of fear some are full of faith. But they are running to church. This is going to happen in New Zealand 1000’s and 1000’s of people running to church – running It’s probably not ever happened in New Zealand before. Amen, Here endeth that prophecy – Praise God”
With false prophecies like the one above so common these days, there’s a great need for critical thinking and careful discernment – in fact biblical integrity has never been more important than it is today. We are all called to be discerning, it’s a gift not just meant for a select few. Every Christian has a duty to discern between truth and error. We are commanded in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 to test everything.
Are the rambling words of Chris Pringle in the sermon review able to be tested against God’s Word? Did she really have a vision of Christ? Is so, why did this Christ need to tell her who he was? Did her face shine so brightly afterwards, she needed to veil her face? Is she lying ? Or is she deceived?
What are your thoughts about Phil and Chris Pringle’s “prophetic” manifestations? Are they true prophets or are they carried off by their own flights of fancy?
Patricia King stopped WW3 from a hotel room… right… If people are still following clowns like her I really do think they have issues. unfortunately that’s exactly the target audience for people like her, Phil Pringle, etc. They prey on the hurt, weak, vulnerable and lonely. Who then they end up believing this rubbish.
I can’t help thinking that all these so-called pastors and preachers had such a great opportunity to do the right thing, to preach the gospel as it is, but unfortunately the money and power is much more important than souls to them. Having said that, the cynic in me thinks that’s why they got into this in the first place. Why else would Patricia King be calling herself an “inventive entrepreneur”? I’m not sure of anything that she’s done that’s particularly entrepreneurial, unless she means taking the tithes she has collected and investing it in a business somewhere for her own personal gain…
There was lightning and high winds (and snow and hail) across New Zealand on 23 and 24 April 2005. But I doubt there would have been anyone “running through the streets” as the weather was hazardous on those two days, so no one was running to church. http://hwe.niwa.co.nz/event/April_2005_New_Zealand_Cold_Snap
To anyone who has ever spent time in NZ…that would be considered a very average day.
Phil and chris pringle have had so many false prophecies, i don’t think anyone takes them seriously anymore. Whatever happened to the ‘God-given’ 20/20 vision? Phil never mentions it anymore.
Phil doesn’t mention it anymore because we proved to be him be a liar over that false vision. Isn’t that right Phil?
“Whatever happened to the ‘God-given’ 20/20 vision?”
It’s so ironic that Phil coined the term ’20/20 vision’ when he himself is spiritually blind.
Phil could get Mark “My Faith is in the Tithe” Kelsey to lead him by the hand, or perhaps train Mark “Sheepdog” Saundercock to act as a guide dog, but unfortunately he would end up in a ditch just the same.
With respect to the “prophecy” quoted above:
“I believe […]”
Uh oh. Two words in, and already we have a problem: prophecies are not about what Phil Pringle “believes”, they are about what God actually says. Does Phil think that God tells the odd porky, or that he has a penchant for changing his mind? Such mealy-mouthed hedging hardly makes Phil appear as the faith-filled man that makes himself out to be.
“[…] the finger of God is poised in the heavens.”
So tell us Phil, is God’s finger still poised? Did he get distracted? Is he suffering from a touch of arthritis, perhaps?
“I see things happening that have never happened before […]”
Actually, with the benefit of hindsight, even those of us who aren’t super-apostles like Phil can categorically say to him “[You saw] things happening that have never happened”.
“I see them running down […]”
Actually, we can see that you are getting rather run down, seeing that you are advanced in years and your time on earth is getting shorter. All those years of twisting scripture and blaspheming God hasn’t done you any favours, has it Phil?
“[…] and the wind is blowing.”
Probably because you had beans for lunch.
“People are running. They are desperate […]”
Sounds like Kong Hee and his accomplices, doesn’t it?
“This is going to happen in New Zealand 1000’s and 1000’s of people running to church […]”
As Maxwell Smart might say: “Would you believe two boy scouts and a mangy dog?”
“Amen, here endeth that prophecy – Praise God”.
Why does Phil use the word “endeth”? Does he have an intermittent speech impediment? Is he channelling Monty Python? Does he think that it sounds “spiritual”, and that by affecting such a manner of speech he sounds more convincing? Does he expect his followers to believe that God, in fact, has a lisp, and that Phil, being “in the spirit” is really quoting the Almighty verbatim? It’s really quite a novelty: has anyone ever heard Phil do such a thing on other occasions, or was this just a one-off KJV moment? Has Phil ever used the words “thee”, “thou”, or “thine” in any of his “sermons”? What is really surprising is that such old-school language is undeniably redolent of the very churches that Phil constantly affects to despise, making him appear as either quite confused or as being an unreconstructable man-pleasing hypocrite who possesses all the steadiness of a wind vane in a tornado. Remember, this is the same man who has referred to educated Christians as “intellectual idiots”, but who has subsequently gone to the trouble of obtaining a fake PhD from a diploma mill in the United States – his entire life is nothing but a never-ending bowl of sour grapes.
I also wondered about his “here endeth” and it DID remind me of monty python. Old phil must have had a python marathon weekend inbetween the unwanted “SPLAT” accidents..er…paintings..
But beware! Phil has a new set of glasses [ all the better to see you with, my dear] Apologies to red riding hood.
Watch all the C3 pastors run to specsavers to get the same ones..[ rose-tinted cost extra]. We must all fit in…We are not a cult.
Ever wonder why all c3 female [cough] ‘pastors’ run off to get the same drab haircut and glasses as chris pringle? We are not a cult.
Quite sad really.
thetruth – you said “Ever wonder why all c3 female [cough] ‘pastors’ run off to get the same drab haircut and glasses as chris pringle? We are not a cult.”
Just saw two keynote C3 female members on Presence Instagram with the same new Chris Pringle hairstyle she had on stage at Presence 2015 tonight. And guess what? Last week they had different hairstyles. (When she painted her toenails blue and put it on Instagram, they did too, rather funny now you point it out).
