[UPDATE 27/10/2015: Transcript of video added]
In the below article written by Phil Pringle and in his YouTube video, Phil Pringle once again claims Kong Hee’s innocence to his church, once again insinuating that the Singaporean courts are being used by the devil.
Worse still in the video, Phil Pringle is deliberately throwing pictures out to portray Kong Hee as Christ and the Singaporean authorities as the corrupt court of the Sanhedrin, who relied on blood money and false accusation to murder Jesus. This is no different to Kong Hee’s message at Presence Conference 2012 to win blind support for his case in front of hundreds and thousands of Christians around the world.
Why is it acceptable to portray the Singaporean government as slanderous murderous men?
Furthermore, Pringle in his video also portrays Kong Hee as the Apostle Peter before governing authorities. But there is a huge difference between the Apostles and Kong Hee. They were persecuted for preaching the gospel and falsely accused because of their message.
However, Kong Hee is not in court because the government wants him to stop preaching the gospel. He is in court for mishandling church funds of up to $46,000,000 to finance his wife’s musical career. That’s a far cry from the “crimes” of the Apostles.
Phil Pringle writes,
PHIL PRINGLE COMMENT ON KONG HEE COURT CASE
This Wednesday, the CHC court case will end, and a verdict will be read over Kong Hee. Our job as fellow believers is to stand in faith with our brother.
On Wednesday 21st October, Pastor Kong Hee’s court case in Singapore will conclude and a verdict will be read. Below is video footage containing my comments on the matter. This video was recorded during our 6 p.m. service at C3 Church Oxford Falls.
When you’re building the Church, you’re never going to be found without a fight. Our job as fellow believers is to stand with each other when we are facing trouble. At the end of the day, it’s easy to stand for Jesus, but it’s more challenging to stand for one of his servants when they are facing difficulty. In this coming week, our good friend Pastor Kong Hee (Senior Pastor of City Harvest Church, Singapore) is going to be standing in a courtroom and a verdict will be passed on him after a 5 year long trial – the longest trial in Singapore’s history. I know Pastor Kong Hee to be an honest, true and faithful minister of Christ. He has also been extraordinarily effective in raising up one of the truly great churches (CHC) in the world, bringing hundreds of thousands of people to Christ. Jesus has told us this kind of advancement would not go uncontested. We must be prepared to be immovable, strong and faithful to Christ through all the challenges we face in building His Church. Ultimately, it is the Courts job to arrive at a verdict. But we are praying for victory. There is a sentiment against believers, but the devil has always got it wrong. He thinks if he attacks the church it’s going to die, he even tried it with Jesus, but He just came up out of the ground again. I believe we have a victorious Christ ruling over His house, His Church and His Kingdom.
You can find a reliable summary of the trial available here: http://www.citynews.sg/2015/09/city-harvest-church-trial-15-sep-2015-video/
See you in church!

TRANSCRIPT
“I want to take a second, for us all just to take a minute to pray for Pastor Kong Hee.
This Wednesday he is going to be standing in a court room in Singapore after five years of trial, the longest running trial in Singapore history. And so I’m going to go up there and stand with him in the court room and ahh you know it’s not my job to judge, rights and wrongs but I do believe it is our job to stand with people who are in struggling situations.
He is one of the most pure hearted, holy men of God I know. One of the most devoted, dedicated, like rugged soldiers for Christ that I’ve ever met. There are some people that are like ‘I’m not so sure I actually want to try to stand but Kong Hee he’s impeccable in integrity in these areas and it’s just that he’s been caught up in it.
This has become a very complicated processes, the prosecution has not been able to provide one piece of evidence of him wrongfully gaining anything or the congregation wrongfully loosing anything, in terms of finances.
But as I say it’s not our part to reach that judgment, that’s in the court’s hands. And do you know Paul and Peter, a lot of these guys found themselves in very difficult situations with the Government authorities and put in predicaments that were scary for the Christians cause they were associated with them and ahh when Jesus got convicted as a criminal and was sent to the cross to die, it was pretty difficult for the disciples to say, ‘we know him, he’s a friend’ they scattered and I don’t want to be that, I want to say I’m standing, I don’t understand everything all the time but I think when we see a good brother, a faithful brother in trouble we should stand with them, in Jesus name.
So let’s pray for one minute here for him right now, Lord we pray for your hand to be upon Pastor Kong and the anointing of the Holy Spirit to be in his life, let the power of Christ rest on him, in Jesus name. Let a miracle come to pass, a miracle of deliverance and victory by the mighty power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus name, let your presence fall now on our brother and those other defendants, let them all know the power of God on their life. In Jesus mighty name we believe God, Your presence, Your power, Your Holy Spirit falling in Jesus mighty name, our God we praise You.”

Twisting and turning like a true serpent. That’s religion or the politics of man.
I seem to remember a few years back at a C3 Presence Conference Kong Hee claimed that he “maintained his integrity” with regard to the charges made by the Singapore Government, repent to your church members Kong because your integrity has been shot to pieces!!!.
Did he have any?
“In the below article….”
Wahlau.. can ah?
Here we have a video of PHIL Pringle blatantly lying to his congregation!!!! He says Kong & co have done nothing wrong and the Singaporean Govt is corrupt. What?? PHIL, you are twisting the truth, just like you twist God’s Word. You are a deceiver, a false teacher. I’m horrified that the so called “men of God”??? whom I used to see as my spiritual teachers are showing themselves be to rotten crooks and workers of satan.
At least some are willing to call Pringle out on his words before the verdict. A comment today on Pringles latest FB post
“Okay, this statement is better than yesterday’s, thank you. Saying Singapore legal system is the work of devil is contempt of court. By all means, pray. But please separate religion from governance. Kong Hee has been found guilty by rigorous legal process in Singapore. The truth has prevailed. The sooner the church admits it, and the sooner the followers come to terms with the fact that Kong Hee has indeed committed a fraud by misused funds, everybody can move on.”
Well I take back my words. However, Churchwatcher, can you please explain what he means by “But please seperate religion from governance. Kong Hee has been found guilty by rigorous legal process in Singapore? Thanks
That was just one comment out many still declaring their belief in Kong’s innocence and ultimate vindication! I was surprised to see it there. The Singaporeans take their justice system very seriously and accusing that very fair legal system of justice as being of the devil is not the first time they’ve gone down that route.
Hi folks – here’s a link to a brief description of the Singaporean legal system. There are others online as well.
https://www.mlaw.gov.sg/our-legal-system.html
From a lawyer in Singapore:
“I am a lawyer and a Christian. This is exactly the judgment I was expecting. Now the law has spoken, the charade in court is over. The judgment is damming. The judge did not buy the lies, wrapped in all sorts of guises. The judge only look at the hard evidences and form his judgment according to law.
No doubt the Defendants will all appeal against the trial judge’s judgment. But the Appellate court will only consider the ‘law’ side of the appeal, not the ‘facts’. Unless there is a miscarriage of law, how likely will be the appeal? In my opinion, not very likely.
The law has spoken. God’s judgment awaits.
Now is not the time to ask God for vindication. Now is the time to repent and seek mercy. All the brave quotation of Bible verses will not vindicate the guilty. The future for the wrongdoers is bleak. It’s time to repent.
As the Bible says, your sin will find you out. That time has arrived.”
One lesson learned, among many, God did not call ‘CEOs’ to lead the Chuch. God call ‘Shepherds’ to look after His Church. That’s what Jesus said to Peter isn’t it?’ Feed my lambs’. The church money don’t belong to the pastor.”

“Everybody can move on”????? No they can’t PHIL, because they will be in jail. You can move on, but is that how quickly you forget about your friends, PHIL? The ones you mentored who are facing jail?
Annette this is nothing new coming from Phil , there is always spin and half truths when Phil is involved in C3’s many scandals. He does this to avoid his church members questioning issues, Phil doesn’t like resistance in anything he or his fellow high level leaders do. He runs the show the way he wants and damn the torpedo’s as they say.
But let your Yes be Yes and your No, No. For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. Matthew 5:37
Gullible Christians are very quick to tell critics and the discerning not to judge. They don’t realise that God uses critics to bring check and balances, and warnings and wisdom to those who will heed them. They help check false doctrines and extra biblical and dishonest practices. If Kong Hee had given heed to Roland Poon way back in 2003 , he would not now have to face a jail term. Instead he listened to the less discerning members and ‘prophecies’ and encouragement from ‘friends’ like Phil Pringle and is now facing the consequences of not heeding God’s warning. Roland Poon, whom Kong disgraced earlier on, is now exonerated and Kong is now in disgrace. The great tragedy of it all is that the disgrace is not just restricted to CHC and their leaders but will also fall on all churches as the world doesn’t care to distinguish CHC from the rest. That’s why what happens in other churches becomes our business to comment.
Phil is asking his church to pray for KH from the point of view that he is innocent and is the victim of injustice, comparing him to the disciples. What he is really doing is dragging everyone down with him because he got it wrong. He doesn’t want anyone asking “so why we’re we asked to pay his legal fees and how much did we pay”? After all, they were praying for him too right?
In the meantime I have to say I’m not surprised at all that they were found guilty. It seemed to be a pretty clear case from the info made public.
“Phil is asking his church to pray for KH from the point of view that he is innocent and is the victim of injustice …”
Phil is sailing very, very close to the wind. He should be careful what he says while he is in Singapore, or he may find himself facing contempt of court charges. It’s clear that Phil has no respect for any authority save that which he perceives as his own. That is hardly surprising, of course, since he has no fear of God at all, as shown by his penchant for blasphemous pronouncements.
I remember at a recent presence conference not only were people asked to give love offerings for Kong Hee but Pringle auctioned a painting with a starting price of $50,000 , in no time a “secret” buyer bid $50,000 and the painting was sold and correct me if I am wrong but Pringle then gifted the money to Kong Hee???
It would not surprise me but I suspect the secret buyer was C3 church itself and therefore C3 Members possibly helped fund Kong’s legal fees, we will never know the true source of the funds that bought that painting. The reason I suspect this is because Kong operated his church by copying the C3 / Pringle model, Pringle remember taught Kong everything.
CHC/Kong Hee as the judge said had no transparency, accountability or governance, C3 has no transparency, accountability, governance, and won’t release church financial accounts to members, I now ask this question what financial matters within C3 church is Pringle hiding??? It Seems to me these leaders live movie star lifestyles , travelling, holidaying if they can scam into a conference or preach somewhere where it suits them, family members employed on the payroll, expensive cars etc etc ,their travel agents must kiss the ground they walk on.
Their wholeC3 church model is suspect.
can someone share the Youtube video please?
Phil Pringle prayed thus:
“So let’s pray for one minute here for him right now, Lord we pray for your hand to be upon Pastor Kong and the anointing of the Holy Spirit to be in his life, let the power of Christ rest on him, in Jesus name.
Too bad you didn’t get your “miracle”, eh Phil? All defendants guilty on all charges, with an absolutely devastating written judgement that stretches to 270 pages (clearly an indication that Kong Hee was stitched up, is that right?). The convicted parties are all showing their bravest faces, and there has been talk of lodging appeals – but failed appeals in Singapore commonly result in harsher penalties, and it’s certainly very hard to envisage any merit in appeals regarding this matter.
In fact, from the very start this was a watertight case for the prosecution, who were in the enviable position of being able to adduce veritable mountains of evidence, and none of your pseudo-Christian mumbo-jumbo was ever going to change that. You look like a right Charlie now, don’t you Phil? People must be wondering whether the devil has stolen your apostolic mojo, and pondering as to whether putting you out to pasture might be the most humane thing that could be done for you. At least if you were pensioned-off you wouldn’t be able to go on making a fool of yourself in public week in and week out.
Of course, there is still one final act to be played out in this drama of the malfeasant mega-pastor. As we all well remember, you have famously prophesied that Kong Hee would not spend so much as a single day in gaol. We know that you are really big on finances, Phil, and I was just wondering – would you be willing to lay odds that Kong Hee will walk free come the day of his sentencing?
