Phil Pringle in his advert for Presence Conference 2016 is not appealing to Christianity but rather pagan mysticism. In this article – we expose the lies and theological bankruptcy behind his Presence advert.
LIES 1-4 EXPOSED
“To be in Him is not a religion, a strict moral code or ceremonial creed.”
What is Phil Pringle smoking?
His first line is deceitful on so many levels. Let us examine his “religion” claim. To be in Christ is to be religious to the Father:
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” James 1:27
Lie one exposed.
Jesus says if we love him, we will obey him and keep/defend his teachings. Furthermore, Jesus commands us to go into all the world and make disciples. His teachings are strictly founded on the moral teachings of the Torah, teaching us what good morals are before God and man. However, his teachings also include why he died for us as Paul lays out in his epistles to the New Testament church.
Lie two exposed.
Phil Pringle’s final statement attacks a central core doctrine of the Christian faith- our creed. That is, our confession of faith.
If we confess Christ as Lord and believe he was raised from the dead we are saved (Romans 10). If we believe the gospel we are saved (1 Corinthians 15). To be in Christ is to confess Christ which is WHY the church has creeds – to help combat heretics (like Phil Pringle).
Lie three exposed.
Nevertheless, Pringle does not even believe his own statement. He is lying to people.
To be in Christ, according to Phil Pringle, is to tithe ten per cent of your financial income to his church so that God does not curse your finances, your business and your life. Simply read his book, ‘Financial Excellence’ or read how he financially manipulates people around his Vision Builders events. That is a false religion that serves the interests of Phil Pringle.
He does invent his own religion and moral code after people give their lives to his jesus.
Lie four exposed.
So what is Phil Pringle peddling?
PAGAN MYSTICISM
This is the clue: “It is to know the very source of life, to dwell in Him and Him in us.”
This is nothing but New Age mysticism. He has attacked what Christianity in his first statement and has redefined and reduced it down to something, abstract, absurd and mystifying in the next.
The allusion to the Roman Catholic mystic Francis of Assissi is also present in this statement. He has simply reworded, “Preach the gospel and occasionally use words” to “For it to show in everything we do.” *
To further back the claim that Phil Pringle is pushing his own man made religion, he states: “For people around us to know that there is something different, a secret that they are anxious to find out.”
The Christian faith is a public faith, not a secret faith. It doesn’t withhold a special “secret” from people. The Apostle Paul makes this so abundantly plain:
… “I am not out of my mind, most excellent Festus, but I am speaking true and rational words. For the king knows about these things, and to him I speak boldly. For I am persuaded that none of these things has escaped his notice, for this has not been done in a corner. King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you believe.” Acts 26:25-7
Pringle is only capitalising on people’s piety and creating a religious environment where if people do not attend his pagan event, people will miss out on “a secret that they are anxious to find out“. This is elitism. This is ego-stroking.
Christianity makes disciples by teaching people about Jesus and preaching his Word. Jesus prayed to His Father that “that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent” (John 17:3). Jesus did exactly this through teaching and preaching. His commission to his disciples was to create disciples in every nation, “teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:20).
Pringle is rejecting Jesus’ great commission. Instead,
“This year our desire is that every adult, youth and child would experience Jesus.”
The pagan Greco-roman world experienced their deities in worship experiences. In contrast to paganism, Jesus taught his disciples and spread the way of God through teaching and discipling. To know God and to receive eternal life was through the preaching of God’s Word (Romans 10) – not “experiences”.
This is not even a Pentecostal teaching offered by Pringle. This is how shamanism or paganism works:
“We should never underestimate what a moment in His Presence will do. And what that moment will cause us to do.”
We can underestimate the moment this false presence will do. This false presence will result in people being lied to, and manipulated to move to the front of the arena to give up lots of money to get their miracle.
This has been the norm for nearly two decades. It’s deceitful – and Pringle knows exactly what he gets out of this: fame, prestige and power. It’s flat out lawlessness, which is why he is a pulpit criminal.
THE FALSE NEW APOSTOLIC REFORMATION COMMISSION
“We experience Jesus because His mission should be the concern of every believer…”
No Pringle – people are TAUGHT about Jesus. You are pushing the cult teachings of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) where people are to “experience Jesus” in worship, the same way pagans experienced their gods. And “His mission” is not Jesus’ mission but Pringle’s man made vision to further his lucrative Pathfinders rich boys club and your colleges (just watch all these adds bombard viewers at the conference).
If you are not convinced that this is the NAR Commission, Pringle finishes the sentence with this:
“… we are called to permeate every part of society.”
Nope. Not true. We are called to make disciples. The false NAR Commission is also about infiltrating the seven mountains of society. Pringle has invented his own language and concepts by calling this “Marketplace ministry”, something that he indoctrinates college students to embrace.
Face it – you’ll get more out of a bible study than putting up with this neo-pagan trash disguising itself as though it is a “Christian” conference. If Christ and His Apostles warn us about lawless men like Pringle and tell us not to tolerate them in His name – why disobey Christ?
… Is it because you like experiencing a different Jesus that Pringle has invented for your own personal satisfaction?
C3 PRESENCE ADVERT
From C3 Presence Conference,
To be in Him is not a religion, a strict moral code or ceremonial creed. It is to know the very source of life, to dwell in Him and Him in us. For it to show in everything we do. For people around us to know that there is something different, a secret that they are anxious to find out.
This year our desire is that every adult, youth and child would experience Jesus.
We should never underestimate what a moment in His Presence will do. And what that moment will cause us to do. Our cause is to be the salt and light. We experience Jesus because His mission should be the concern of every believer; we are called to permeate every part of society.
Our prayer is that this conference would continue to revive the creators, the builders, the innovators, the leaders and those praying and acting powerfully in situations that are not always seen. That every single person would receive new vision and understand the impact that just one person who has had an encounter can have on their world.
We cannot wait to seek Him together and are counting down the days till we have the great privilege of hosting you, your family and friends at Presence Conference 2016!
In Him,
Phil & Chris Pringle
YOU ARE
INVITED

* We are aware that Francis of Assissi never made this statement. We are acknowledging that this is something that many false teachers allude too in their false religious presentations.
“We should never underestimate what a moment in His Presence will do. And what that moment will cause us to do. Our cause is to be the salt and light. We experience Jesus because His mission should be the concern of every believer; we are called to permeate every part of society.

“We should never underestimate what a moment in His Presence will do. And what that moment will cause us to do.”
“… we are called to permeate every part of society.”
“A moment in His presence”, Phil, it is obvious, isn’t, three or four days a year, and what do you do the other 361 or 362 days of the year.
The presence of Our Lord through His Holy Spirit is meant to be with us and go with us every day of our lives, not just three or four days of the year, that is if His real presence is there, or it is just a marketing conference.
“His mission should be the concern of every believer; we are called to permeate every part of society”.
Is it so? My question to Phil is why are you only interested in opening or stablish c3 branches only in the very affluent suburbs of cities around the world?, and not in those marginal or poor suburbs of these same cities, as some people called them.
The answer is only one, and that is, that you won’t be able to get from the poor people those tithes, special offerings, love offerings, miracle offerings among other ones, which you love so much, and therefore you won’t be able to have marketing places for your merchandise.
Therefore, your call to permeate “every part of society” is just one more blatant lie.
You also said and stated that you “are called to permeate every part of society”, have you ever gave a thought to open a c3 branch in those countries, where true Christians are being persecuted and murdered, who really understand and are putting in practice the real mission of Jesus our Lord.
That’s a good observation re: location of C3 churches. They are generally located in the nicer parts of town where they can attract people with decent incomes…
One reason they are in ‘affluent’ areas of town is that the baby Christians who start them are flakes running a franchise and who aim to take advantage of lucrative incomes by fleecing naïve cult followers.
Why does Simon McIntyre refer to his mate and boss as a Mystic?
Is it just a mere a coincidence or it is something else, that the founders of these prosperity mega churches in Australia, and the majority of their “pastors” affiliated with them came from across the sea, and think of us, true believers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as being absolutely a naïve people.
I might have been one, but I thank God that I am not anymore, nevertheless, I still think of the rest of my brothers and sisters, and continue to pray to our Lord and Saviour that they might see the true light on time, before His return to His planet earth.
The name ‘Simon McIntyre’ seems to ring a bell. I’m sure he was one of Pringle’s zombies in the AOG Sydneham, Christchurch days.
Simon is one of the eight who came to Australia from across, and they are still coming, because they consider Australia as a golden mine.
Yes. he was one and still is one of them, he runs the branch in UK London.
They were eight at the beginning and there are still coming from across Australia.
To them Australia is like a golden mine.
Wayne and Ann Tyndale also came to Aus, but split from Pringle and ended up in a spiritual wilderness. Last I heard they were bitter about the church.
Wayne and Ann Tyndale were saved at AOG Sydneham the same night as the Pringles. I was there that night.Spent a lot of time that night with them, and the following weeks and months after. When pringle split the church and stole most of the flock I avoided contact with him.
“When pringle split the church and stole most of the flock …”
As is is written,
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy …”
and
“You will know them by their fruits”.
It’s ironic that Pringle, who accusers non-tithers of “robbing God”, should have commenced his “ministry” by stealing congregants. No doubt he will be judged with the same judgement that he judges others. And of course, Pringle is in his sixties now: he’s not got long to wait before he is called to account for his endless twisting of Scripture. A Faustian bargain can look pretty good at the beginning, but it tends to lose its appeal as the end approaches – as Pringle is no doubt starting to appreciate. All the money, the nice house, the expensive cars, the holidays and overseas trips – none of these things help you to sleep at night, do they Phil?
GN, spot on! Pringle must be having nightmares. Probably on a ton of meds!
At that time in AOG Sydneham, it was the hand of God that grubbed out the Bartons and Pringle, but of course not His will that Pringle would steal sheep.
A brilliant and sincere pastor, David Brydges, took over after the bartons and Pringle were grubbed out and Pastor Brydges was there for many years until he became the principal of the Aus AOG bible college.
Somehow Pringle was able to con the Bartons into paying him a salary to teach young people in the church, immediately after he was saved.
He also CONvinced the Bartons to use church money to fund his wedding and honeymoon. He learnt to bludge off God’s people from the very beginning.
GN, is spot on. Pringle probably has nightmares and has to absorb tons of meds.
Thanks theausgaz, for this new revelation.
Almost every month or so, the true story of the Pringles are being revealed to the public, and I congratulate to everyone who is doing just that.

For as long as I can remember Phil and his wife have been telling different stories to C3 members, starting from their “conversion”, who actually was paying the rent of their first house after getting married, how “they themselves” together with a few followers started the church at the surf club.
There are already tens if not hundreds of facts that contradict the stories that the Pringles have been telling to the public.
Your comment about:
“He learnt to bludge off God’s people from the very beginning.”
Every day we are discovering and learning about the truth of the Pringles, and their personal ambitions, to save souls is definitely not one of them.
Mark Twain was reportedly quoted saying “if you always tell the truth, you won’t have to remember anything.”
The Pringles have so many versions of their “truth”, but unfortunately for them, we have “cache”. 😀
