Convicted felon Kong Hee claims convicted felon Yonggi Cho is his ‘Spiritual Father’

Christian Post, David Yonggi Cho, felon, Kong Hee

In spite of their lies, blasphemies and crimes, pulpit criminals like Kong Hee and David Yonggi Cho still choose to stick together. Before reading the Christian Post article, we would like to highlight some of the things Kong Hee mentioned in this piece.

1. “Cho’s teaching on the Holy Spirit and the Fourth Dimension has been nothing short of transformative in our generation”

“Transformative” Kong? Yes. But for the better? No.

Yonggi Cho’s Fourth Dimension are founded on his pagan background, his fascination with the Soka Gakkai, his influences with the NAR, the demonic encounters he claims to be the Holy Spirit teaching him about the ‘Fourth Dimension’. You can learn more about his theology from our review of his ‘Fourth Dimension’ teaching on Yoido Full Gospel Church Watch.com.

2. “Kong has also praised the major growth of Christian megachurches in South Korea during his recent trip to the country, noting that it has seen “one of the greatest revivals in the last 100 years” of Christianity occur there.”

This is a lie. This article exposes the fact that David Yonggi Cho’s church is an utter failure and that the churches of Korea long for the days of the early martyred missionaries who brought revival and the Word of God.

Lamenting the infiltration of “secularization and pervasive mammonism” into the Korean church…

These men continue to deceitfully praise each other’s false works in their attempt to stengthen each other’s credibility and profit from the gullible “Christians” in their Prosperity cults. They refuse to accept the fact that their friends are guilty before God and before their earthly courts of law.

The Christian Post reports,

Kong Hee Says His ‘Spiritual Father’ Is Pastor David Yonggi Cho of Yoido Full Gospel Church

Singapore’s City Harvest Church pastor Kong Hee has praised Pastor David Yonggi Cho and Grace Kim Sunghae of Yoido Full Gospel Church, the largest Pentecostal Church in the world, as being “one of the most amazing couples in the history of Christendom.”

Kong also said that Cho, who founded Yoido in 1958 and saw it grow into a congregation of 830,000 members, has accomplished “things of biblical proportions very few could imagine possible.”

The CHC pastor explained in a detailed post on Facebook some of the history behind South Korea’s Yoido, noting that Cho, who is now its pastor emeritus, also founded several other Christian institutions, including Church Growth International, Elim Welfare Town, Hansei University, the International Theological Institute, and the Kookmin Daily newspaper.

“Cho’s teaching on the Holy Spirit and the Fourth Dimension has been nothing short of transformative in our generation,” Kong wrote.

He added that Kim has also accomplished a great deal helping her husband in five decades of ministry, noting that she is an accomplished concert pianist, educator and ordained minister of the Gospel, along with the current president of Hansei University.

“Most of all, she is a ‘mother’ to hundreds of pastors, missionaries and churches in Korea and around the world,” Kong wrote.

“Sun [Ho] and I are blessed to have Cho and Kim as our spiritual parents. Cho is our pastor and discipler, and Kim our encourager and intercessor,” he continued.

“During our recent trip to Seoul, we were honored again to spend private, quality time with both of them, and also with some of their closest disciples. I was given the privilege to preach at the 40,000-member Nowon Full Gospel Church, as well as the famous Gangnam Full Gospel Church, a congregation fervent in prayer and intercession.”

Kong has also praised the major growth of Christian megachurches in South Korea during his recent trip to the country, noting that it has seen “one of the greatest revivals in the last 100 years” of Christianity occur there.

“They have been consistently baptizing 1,000 new converts every month! If you ask any Korean church what is the key to their success, the answer is unanimous — PRAYER!” he wrote last week, referring to Yoido’s success.

Both Kong and Cho have faced controversies and their own separate court battles, however. Kong was convicted and sentenced to eight years in prison last year along with five other CHC members of misusing millions of church donations for the popstar career of Ho, an accusation which he denied and has appealed against.

Cho, on the other hand, was sentenced to three years in prison in 2014 for embezzling church funds, concerning church officials buying stocks owned by his eldest son, which resulted in $12 million in losses to the church.

Yoido remains the largest megachurch in South Korea despite the controversy, however.

In his Facebook post, Kong noted that Cho will be celebrating his 80th birthday later in February, and said that he sends his prayers “for this dear man of God on his special milestone.”

Scipione & Baird AGAIN speaking at cult that covered up paedophilia

c3 church, City Harvest Church, kong hee scandal, Phil Pringle

Despite C3 Church being involved in various scandals and cover-ups over the years, the Premier of New South Wales, Mike Baird and the Commissioner of the New South Wales Police Force, Andrew Scipione continue to share a platform with Phil Pringle.

To this day, Phil Pringle still:

  1. likes to be endorsed by his convicted mentor David Yonggi Cho,
  2. continues to endorse his convicted protege, Kong Hee,
  3. continues to lie about the Singaporean authorities to his church as to why Kong Hee actually went to jail,
  4. continues to cover up a pedophile scandal he was personally involved in,

while taking advantage of the credibility of Andrew Scipione and Mike Baird.

Phil Pringle writes,

philpringle Great #c3Pathfinders full house breakfast with both NSW Premier @mikebairdmp & Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione sharing about leadership, family & their faith. #newdayleaders #C3churchhub

Source: Phil Pringle, Instagram, https://www.instagram.com/p/-hlBZFNP8D/, Accessed 26/11/2015.

proof_Instagram-Pringle-Scipione-Baird_26-11-2015

Since its inception,  the C3 movement has been heavily involved in the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) cult and has heavily pushed its agenda around Australian churches. Very similar to a Masonic society, a trait of the NAR is their “organic” networks, one aspect being the Seven Mountain Mandate (7MM). (Kong Hee calls this the seven pillars of society and the cultural mandate.)

The 7MM is all about infiltrating what they call the “market place.” To infiltrate society (to take the city for God), the NAR and C3 teaches that Christians need to conquer the seven mountains of society: Art/Entertainment, Business, Church/Religion, Dissemination/News, Education, Family/Health, Government/Law.

False-Gospel_NAR

This explains Elise Boggs comment below on Phil Pringle’s instagram:

Leadership! My favorite word @philpringle . Thanks for the encouraging shout out at c3 global. Love that C3 has a marketplace ministry. #c3pathfinders #marketplaceinfluence

We speculate that the reason why Phil Pringle had both Baird and Scipione speaking was to demonstrate to his movement that C3 are making “Christian” inroads into the Government/Law mountain in their “marketplace ministry.”

While PathFinders will not specifically teach the 7MM to those who attend, C3 appears to be moulding its members to conform to the philosophies and pagan teachings of the NAR, specifically through its Bible (The Church mountain) and Arts colleges (Arts/Entertainment mountain).

The Seven Mountain Mandate cannot be supported by scripture as it’s an unbiblical system developed by Bill Bright and Loren Cunningham back in 1975. They both claim that God spoke to them.

There is a good chance that Andrew Scipione and Mike Baird may have been accidentally indoctrinated by Hillsong or C3 who have been pushing this anti-Christian, totalitarian doctrine for decades.

It is our hope and prayer that Scipione and Baird are not hoodwinked by these cults and instead start investigating them.

Media reports on See Kee Oon’s 270-page written judgment.

CHC, court, culture of insecurity, Kong Hee, Phil Pringle, Pringle

Recent media reporting on Phil Pringle’s secrecy and culture of insecurity at C3 Church Kong Hee’s secrecy and culture of insecurity at City Harvest Church.

Today Online writes,

CHC slammed for ‘secrecy, culture of insecurity’

SINGAPORE — Criticising what he called the culture of insecurity that six City Harvest Church leaders convicted on Wednesday operated under, Presiding Judge of the State Courts See Kee Oon saved some of his strongest words for church founder Kong Hee in his 270-page written judgment released to the media yesterday.

The six leaders — Kong, his deputy Tan Ye Peng, former church accountant Serina Wee, former church investment manager Chew Eng Han, former finance manager Sharon Tan and former church board member John Lam — were found guilty on all of counts of criminal breach of trust and/or falsification of accounts.

Judge See had delivered his oral judgment, a condensed version of the written grounds, on Wednesday. He found that they had acted dishonestly and in breach of the trust reposed in them to cause wrongful loss of S$50 million to the church and to defraud auditors.

In his judgment grounds, the judge wrote that Kong capitalised on the church climate of paranoia and fear in 2003 to galvanise support for the Crossover Project — using his wife Ho Yeow Sun’s secular pop music to reach out to non-Christians. The collective fear arose after then-church member Roland Poon publicly commented that church funds had been used to promote Ms Ho’s music career.

Kong’s response to the incident revealed “both his personal dominance and deep insecurity”, said JC See. The pastor rallied the church “around the big idea that they (i.e. CHC’s leaders and by extension the entire church) were being maligned and under attack, and hence had to be discreet,” he added.

“He convinced them that if CHC’s leaders believed they had to be discreet in order for the Crossover to succeed, then they ought to simply trust them and not question their motives or reasons.”

The effort to keep the church’s financing of the Crossover discreet led to the set-up of Xtron Productions to manage Ms Ho’s career. The criminal charges in this case relate in part to sham bonds worth millions of dollars that the church bought from Xtron to channel church funds to the Crossover.

All six leaders’ committed zeal for the Crossover vision may have clouded their objectivity and judgment and obscured the need to safeguard money which was not theirs to use as they wished, said judge See. They chose to create cover stories and clever round-trips concealing their unlawful conduct, he added.

“The allure of power that can be exercised in secrecy is difficult to resist. When shrouded under a cloak of invisibility, much like the mythical ring of Gyges, persons in such positions of power have no fear of accountability and tend to become their own worst enemies,” he wrote.

The ring of Gyges is a mythical artefact that grants its owner the power to become invisible at will, mentioned in Greek philosopher Plato’s The Republic.

Judge See wrote: “It has thus been wisely said that the real tragedy is when men are afraid of the light, and if they choose not to come into the light they do so for fear that their deeds will be exposed, as they surely will in time.”

Kong would not have been able to act alone and could not orchestrate every move, and the five other leaders were both trusted and trusting, he added. They wanted to ensure their conduct and choices lived up to Kong’s expectations.

Noting that none of the six was aware of all the details, the judge said it could be because there were far too many moving parts in the plan for the Crossover to the United States, which grew more ambitious over time.

The US foray involved Ms Ho’s debut English album, which had hip-hop star Wyclef Jean roped in at one point. It led to the church’s sham bond investments worth S$24 million in Xtron and another company, and four of the leaders then misused another S$26.6 million of church funds to try to cover up the first amount.

“But this may have also been the inevitable consequence of CHC’s election to carry out its affairs and operations relating to the funding of the Crossover in a discreet fashion. This was merely a euphemism for a culture of insecurity mired in secrecy and opaqueness where asking difficult or awkward questions was taboo,” the judge wrote.

There was no way that Kong – who the judge found to have controlled Xtron – could fail to realise that once CHC had bought Xtron bonds that the bond proceeds would be “entirely within his control”.

Judge See also noted that Kong had sought to mislead a different set of auditors, Ernst & Young (since renamed EY), who were conducting a governance review of CHC on behalf of the Government towards the end of 2007. Kong helped prepare replies to questions that the auditors might ask, and the church would have told auditors that Xtron’s directors were separate and independent of the church board – which he knew was untrue, said judge See.

He also said Kong exploited Chew’s forceful personality and his determination and drive to achieve objectives, although Chew also glossed over the fact that he himself had bought Ms Ho’s Mandarin albums when he blamed Kong for deceiving him about the true measure of her success.

Separately, Kong broke his silence on the verdict yesterday, posting on Facebook his belief that God would use the outcome of the case for good. The pastor also thanked his supporters and said: “The days and steps ahead are challenging, but with God’s grace and love, I have no fear.”

The six will be back in court on Nov 20, where they could be sentenced.

Does Kong Hee’s behaviour over his property jeopardise Pringle’s integrity?

$10 million, cove, Hee, Kong Hee, Mrs Light n Friends, Phil Pringle, sentosa, sentosa cove, sentosa property

Recently, Kong Hee hit headlines for putting his $10 million Sentosa Cove on the market. This has raised some questions over Pringle’s words about Kong Hee’s “poverty” while going through trial.

Mrs Light n Friends reports,

Kong has $ to invest in Sentosa, no $ to invest in Sun?

Kong invested in property 295 Ocean Drive #11-19, Singapore 098534.

Excerpt from Straitstimes, “The 5,242 sq ft duplex which comes with a huge rooftop infinity pool and overlooks the upmarket One Degree 15 Marina Club, was bought for $9.33 million in 2007”. Source: http://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/this-is-only-our-temporary-home-kong-hee-on-his-sentosa-cove-property

295 Ocean DriveWho bought the property in 2007 at $9.33m?

The split share of 50/50 only registered on June 15, 2011, which is after the investigation started in May 31, 2010.

50% share to Kong Hee with the home address at Leonie Hill and 50% share to Wahju Hanafi at River Valley.

You can purchase information from trusted source Singapore Land Authority (SLA) athttps://www.inlis.gov.sg.  Just provide your name and email address to SLA and pay $5.25. You will have a report.

Some points to ponder

1. Who is the first owner?

First owner bought this unit for $5,760,270 in 2006. Who?
2nd owner bought this unit for $9,330,000 in 2007.
First owner must be very happy profit of almost $3.5m.

2. Kong Hee has the money to invest in Sentosa Cove, no money to invest in his wife music career?

Kong Hee was looking for investors to invest in Sun’s Album around 2006 and 2007. The church approached Eng Han who was the fund manager at that time. Many other individuals were approached to invest and some were approached to give direct to Xtron.

3. What did Kong’s spiritual mentor, Phil Pringle say?

For those who follow C3 church watch. Remember what Phil Pringle said during C3 Presence Conference, 2011?
Source https://c3churchwatch.com/2013/04/02/prophet-pringle-plundering-the-pockets-of-people-for-kong-hees-cause/

Phil Pringle says

To actually even be here, because their passports were confiscated, they had to pay bail to get those passports back. The bail was set at one million dollars. Each. Uh- oh, for Kong Hee I’m sorry.

Then, I think it was even more for him. I can’t remember the figures. But I know that for- they had to raise seven million dollars for members of staff and others to travel. That’s just that area. If you’ve ever been to Singapore, you know how expensive this place is. To fight the case he has had to employ a legal firm. And I know what the bills are. They are nearly a million dollars each time they come. Between half a million and a million dollars each time those bills come. His church is not allowed to pay one cent of his personal cost that he is incurring in this battle. He has to find it himself

[Mrs Light comment: I don’t know how Phil Pringle came out with the $7m bail figure. Xtron directors pay their own bail, Eng Han and John Lam pay his own bail. Not sure about the rest of them. It cannot be $7million.

The church is not allowed to pay for his personal cost. This statement is true, but Phil didn’t tell the congregation there are other sources of income from the individuals!]

He’s sold his house. He has scratched together everything he can. One of the things that I’m doing is going there. I’ve made a commitment to be there once every two weeks. Normally it ends up being once every three weeks because of a variety of commitments that I’ve already got and doing things. But when I’m gone, he’s able to travel. And when I’m their, he’s able to travel and preach and find support amongst Asia and other churches.

[Mrs Light comment: Kong sold one of his temporary houses?]

Uh- I know that he was finding it hard to put some money together to get a cup of Starbucks at one stage. And uh- it’s a challenge. There’s been new legislation passed on the use of commercial spaces in Singapore since this case has come. So the religion- the restriction on his church is severe, ah, in that area [inaudible] after their purchase, go into co-ownership with ah, SunTec. And we’re in there. I will be speaking there in a couple days time. I will be on Friday to speak there happily.

[Mrs Light comment: Was Phil Pringle joking? Kong needed to put some money together to get a cup of Starbucks? See what Straitstime reported, “The wardrobe area also features two watch display cabinets filled with fine timepieces from Cartier and Bvlgari.”

Source http://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/city-harvest-church-founder-kong-hee-puts-sentosa-cove-home-for-sale-for-10m

So in 2011 Kong couldn’t afford a Starbucks, but from 2013 trial onwards, he is seen with a Starbucks everyday in court.  Did he get richer?

I thought of this MediaCorp song and I would like to sing too
un… un… un… un…Unbelievable!]
