Pringle: “You’re Too Young To Be This Screwed Up! You’re Too Young To Be This Hard-Headed About Doctrine!”

The Apostle Paul said to YOUNG Timothy,

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

Looks like Pringle would disagree.

CAN SOMEONE SAY THE WORD ‘HYPOCRITE’?

Phil Pringle said recently at his Global Presence Conference 2013,

“In Singapore you will see lots of negative stuff. You will read lots of blogs by Christians as well that are terrible, negative, attacking, all kinds of things and we live in that kind of age.

But I think people are getting a little numb to it now. I saw on some comments on Facebook today about this conference. I’m thinking, “Oh! PLEASE! You know! Get over it in Jesus name! Amen! Get a life! Do something! Win some people to Jesus! You know like- our worst critics and enemies are within our own deal, for goodness sake. Can’t we get it together and discover the things that unite us are far more the things that divide us in Jesus name. Amen!

We’re here to build the church, not tear it down. I’m not gonna get into cat fights with anybody. Amen! I’ll just ignore it, move on.” [Article]

Well the one that seemingly hates to start the cat-fights couldn’t let the fight go. Offended, upset and miserable, Phil Pringle recently stated,

“But I don’t find that all the time. I find some believers who are still very small minded. Very miserable. Very upset. Very offended. very tight about all sorts of things. And often times- this is the tragedy of that, they’re only like twenty five years old!

I’m going, “You’re too young to be this screwed up! You’re too young to be this hard-headed about doctrine- and about- and to get all angry and bitter and tough about- PLEASE! What are you doing?!? Don’t talk about the stuff. BE the stuff. Don’t fight about words like grace. BE GRACIOUS! Amen!”

Source: Phil Pringle, Phil Pringle ‘Grand Designs | Spare Not’, http://www2.myc3church.net/videos/phil-pringle-grand-designs-spare-not-0, C3 Church Oxford Falls, 09/06/2013. (Accessed 11/06/2013.)

We don’t know what’s more pathetic. A sixty year old pastor blowing raspberry’s at doctrinally hard-headed twenty five-year old’s (someone get Pringle a pacifier); or Pringle using his own doctrinally hard head to tear down Christians. Come on Pringle! We’re here to build the church, not tear it down. If you don’t like Christian doctrine Pringle, just ignore Christianity and move on. Christianity would probably have revival if you left.

WHERE’S THE LOVE PRINGLE?

To point out how askew Pringle’s doctrine is, he clearly doesn’t know what a pastor is, what the church is and who actually builds the church. A pastor is called to look after the flock. The church isn’t called to expand or progress. The church is to behave like a pillar and buttress of the truth (1 Timothy 3). It is up to God to grow it.

Furthermore, this audio shows just how much Phil Pringle disregards his own congregation. Phil Pringle would rather have a big church where no one knows him and no one knows each other. What’s sad is Phil Pringle thinks he is actually saving people if he wants a big church. When you watch to the end of the above sermon ask these questions:

Did Phil Pringle preach a gospel message that could lead someone out of their sins and into God’s grace through Jesus’ atoning work on the cross?
Did they know anything about the gospel?

It is not loving at all to give people the impression they are Christian’s if they don’t know the gospel which is the power that saves from hell.

Now that’s “screwed up”!

WHERE’S THE TRUTH PRINGLE?

“Don’t talk about the stuff. BE the stuff. Don’t fight about words like grace. BE GRACIOUS! Amen!”

What’s odd about Pringle’s advice is that it doesn’t make any sense. What is he talking about? Is this how a sixty year old anti-doctrinal pastor responds to young Christians?

And these are twenty five-year old’s! Imagine if Pringle came across someone half their age.

“And when [Jesus] was twelve years old, they went up according to custom. And when the feast was ended, as they were returning, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents did not know it, but supposing him to be in the group they went a day’s journey, but then they began to search for him among their relatives and acquaintances, and when they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, searching for him. After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.” Luke 2:42-47

Sounds like Jesus was VERY hard-headed. Maybe Phil Pringle should rebuke Jesus in the name of Jesus while he’s at it. Maybe just like his members, Jesus should conform to the image that Pringle wants them all to be.

How Pagan Can Pringle Get?

Satan said to Jesus in the wilderness.

“If you are the Son of God, speak to these stones to become loaves of bread.” Matthew 4:3

Jesus responded with the following.

“‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Matthew 4:4

Just like Satan, Pringle below is teaching the Body of Jesus Christ to speak to their difficulties to become mammon. In fact, we have written in the past how Pringle’s idea of faith is practically connected to the ‘faith’ of the occult.

Phil Pringle Influenced By Occult/ New Thought/ Metaphysical Cult Teachings

This video reveals Pringle’s inept ability to handle scripture correctly to justify his pagan faith. Pringle reduces Jesus (the Word of God Himself), to a tool, wand, law and principle, to prophesy (to speak or confess) things into existence. It becomes evident that Pringle’s double speak reveals that his confession is “Jesus is law” not Lord. For someone who doesn’t “box God” or “limit God”, Pringle does a tremendous job of enslaving God to serve his lips and heart. (See more double-speak towards end of the article.)

To Pringle, Jesus is nothing but a pagan entity summoned to fulfill Pringle’s desires. D.R. McConnell and Hank Hanegraaf document how Word Of Faith heretics like Pringle deify man and reduce the sovereignty of Christ, their historical research linking these heretical teachings to the teaching one finds in the occult. As a result of Pringle’s occult teachings, Pringle’s mutilation of the biblical texts is horrendous.

Pringle’s use of John 1 is highly blasphemous. For a start we were never in the beginning with God. To allegorise John 1 to say our beginning is 2011 and we can have the laws of the Word to speak to our future is delusional at best. The use of these biblical passages are so rorted, it is hard to dispute rationally how Pringle is so inept. Nothing in John 1 supports Pringle’s claim that we are to speak to our new year beginnings to get the things we want in the future.

Pringle’s use of Mark 11:12-14; 20-25 is not teaching us to speak to our sickness and debts in ‘faith’. While Pringle also uses “Death and life are in the power of the tongue,” (Proverbs 18:21), he treats this to be some kind of magic ritual to summon Jesus like a pagan God to do the things Pringle desires. But this passage simply talks about the influential power the tongue has over our lives and others so we can reap blessing or destruction.

Pringle also shamelessly Hebrews 10:23 here says, “Let us hold fast the confession” and then stops conveniently to continue shaping his loopy origami theology. What’s the context?

Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin. Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:18-23

He is turned the church’s universal faith confession of Christ’s finished work into a money-grubby, confess-for-gain magic formula. He also unashamedly lies about what Jesus says in the bible. Jesus does not say, “You’re dried up from the roots.”

Different Spirit, Different Jesus, Different Message

Below is the transcript:

“This morning, I want to talk about creating a future. Not just trying to weather forecast what’s going to happen but actually making what’s going to happen, happen. You become partners with God in creating a future. And the greatest tool that I know for making that happen is prophesying.

One of the reasons the bible has- about one third of it’s statements are prophecies- or written by prophets, is because if they didn’t say it, it wouldn’t happen. God makes things happen through words. God created the universe through words. And at the beginning of a new year like 2012, in the beginning was the Word. Amen!

So I want us to be able to have in our lives . . . I believe in our lives we can have this Word. And we find this Word is God. That’s the amazing thing. When you speak the Word of God into a circumstance, you’re not just speaking words. You’re actually speaking God into a situation.

You can never afford to underestimate the power of your words. You have the power of life or death in your tongue. And one of the first things the devil will try and do in your world is destroy your confession or your profession, try and mangle your words or corrupt your speech so that you find yourself constantly complaining, declaring negative things about your life. “I’m to this, I’m too old, I’m too big, not skilled enough, that’ll never happen for me, this modemo [?] doesn’t work, my car’s so old, I never have enough money-“

People say that sort of stuff all day long and wonder why their lives are so awful  You have got to change your mouth. You’ve got to let your tonguebe  born again.  I mean I know that the money issue is a big issue for some people but THIS is even bigger. I think it’s easy to convert my wallet than it is to convert my tongue. God is so specific about it all the way through scripture – ‘In the beginning’ of 2012, what are you going to prophesy about this year? What are you going to say? “Yeah I’ve tried that before but things went wrong.”

Did you keep on saying it? “No. I just agreed with the wrong things.” That’s called walking by sight not by faith. Cos you see the things that are going wrong and you’re saying, “All things are going wrong.”

You’re meant to walk by the Word Of God and speak what it’s saying, no matter how long it takes for that circumstance to conform to the reality you are speaking. Your reality is a higher reality then what’s surrounding you. It doesn’t negate it. I’m not talking about some denial or a Christian Science thinking where we don’t even acknowledge that there is evil. No there is evil. There’s things that go wrong. No denying that!

But you see, one law defeats another law in the worlds of God. Okay, their is a law of gravity. There’s a law of gravity. It’s  very powerful law. It works all day long. It works as you get older in a very serious manner, amen.

There’s this gravity that pulls- keeps us on earth! It’s good. But it makes things fall. But you know? There’s a law of aerodynamics. You can overcome the law of gravity. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. It just means you found a law that overcomes another law. And if you push the thing forward with a certain winged structure, you lift off and gravity has no power over you. You’ve beaten it.

[5:19] And so when you have things going wrong in your life, there is a law by which you can actually transform that thing. And that’s by understanding that in the beginning of anything that God does, is the Word. At the beginning. It’s the seed of your future.

The beginning of this year, 2012, make sure the Word, the Word of God is in your lips. and the Word about this coming year. OK. Now we suddenly go to a new word here. He was in the beginning. When Jesus was on earth, He went about doing good in healing all who were oppressed by the devil.  [6:02] The Word is Jesus. It’s not an ‘it’. It’s ‘He’ was in the beginning with God.

[6:10] As soon as you start speaking the bible, the scriptures, into your circumstance, Jesus leaps out of your mouth and starts walking into your circumstance, casting out demons, healing the sick, stilling the storm, walking on water supernaturally, making things happen that wouldn’t happen unless you did it.

[6:31] Here’s the thing guys. When I first discovered this, which was nearly forty years ago, I- I was nervous about sharing it with anybody. Cos I thought, ‘If they get a hold of this, there will be too much competition. This is really good! It works! Aw! I’m not going to tell anybody! It’s like I got a secret here that-‘

The Lord said, ‘Share it and I’ll give you more’.

‘Alright.’ So I shared it. But I didn’t need to worry. I don’t need to worry at all. Cos nobody does it. You see cos you’re sitting here going, ‘Yeah! Yeah! Yeah’ but you’re going to walk out of here. You gotta do this!”

It’s not agreeing with me going, “Yeah! Amen! Wow! That’s powerful!

[8:00] “I’m talking about a thing called the Word of God. And it is more enduring and powerful than anything you’ve got within your reach. And when you start to speak that, you’re putting something into your world, into your future that is undefeatable because it’s Jesus Himself. And they tried to crucify him once. It didn’t work. He’s a get-up-and-go kinda guy. And he just got up out of that grave. Death couldn’t hold him. Sickness couldn’t hold him. Killing him couldn’t hold him. It doesn’t matter what’s going on in your circumstance, it can’t hold you down if you’ll put the Word of God into your circumstance. Resurrection comes into your finances, comes into your family, comes into your home, comes into your people, into your work, into every area of your life.

He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him. Oh- now you got me going. . .

[10:04] All things were made by Him. Not evolved. They were made complete and finished. They were complete. We’re going the other way guys! We’re not going up. We’re gonna- the earth is going to fold up and all be gone. I- and you know I’m just grieving. If it was anybody, I would save the tigers. But the fact is, is- the deal is that the bible says, “Oh! It’s decaying. It’s physical. It’s got a lifespan. It’s got a shelf-life.” He says, “I’m making you a new eternal home.” And he only took six days with this one. He’s taken two thousand years with the other one. The new one. Can you imagine what it’s gonna be like? This place is pretty amazing.

So here He is. All things are made by Him and without Him, nothing was made that was made. Everything’s beautiful in the world. Jesus is beautiful. Mountains, oceans, bananas, pelicans, you. It’s all beautiful! Mostly. Amen! No, you are!

Without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life. The life was the light of men. Light shines in the darkness and the darkness didn’t comprehend it. Or in other versions, ‘did not overcome it’. All right!

So, God’s spoke and said, ‘Let there be light’. That’s how He did it. What are you going to prophesy over your year ahead? What are you gonna say?

And once you’ve stated it, Hebrews 10:23 here says, “Let us hold fast the confession-” that word is also profession, which is a Greek word: homologia. And that means to speak the same thing. I’m writing in tongues.

Let us hold fast the profession- hold it fast cos it slips away. Your salvation is based on this: “He who believes with his heart and confesses with his mouth, Jesus Christ is Lord shall be saved.”

And so here’s the thing. Once you’ve got this profession in your life. This confession of hope or this confession of faith, without wavering, you’ll discover that God is able to bring to pass the words you are speaking. When you combine what you are wanting to happen with God’s Word, you’ll find faith comes on the inside of you to actually bring it to pass.

Jesus did this . . . over in Mark 11 verse- when he’s speaking about a fig tree. It says, “Now in the morning as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.” I mean, some of you got some stuff you needed dried up from the roots. But a- he says, “And Peter remembering him remembering him said, Rabbi, look! The fig tree which you cursed has withered away. So Jesus answered him and said, Have faith in God. I say to you, Whosoever says to this mountain, Be removed and be cast into the sea; and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things that he says will come to pass; he shall have whatever he says.”

[13:28] The reason you need to hold fast the confessional profession of your faith, is because once you start speaking it, [it] doesn’t immediately appear to change anything. It’s not a Harry Potter magic wand thing. Woo! BAM!!! And it just changes.

When Jesus spoke to that fig tree nothing looked different. It looked exactly the same. The surprise was the disciples the next day saying, “Look! That fig tree’s now died!” It didn’t look dead yesterday the way- leaves are still waving in the wind. Your debts are hanging around in the wind. The sickness is still waving in the wind. Leaves are still there. The tree’s looking good. But Jesus said, “You’re dried up from the roots.” But it was still there. It still looked alive.

It took a day to take effect. If Jesus’ words take a day to effect, you should not be worried if something you’re saying is taking a year. Amen. He did live on a slightly different plain to the rest of us. So what you are saying with your mouth is forming your world. And if you are unhappy with your would as it is, the thing that changes is not to try to change your world but change the thing that’s making your world, which is your mouth. And you have complete control and government over that thing.

But you know, you know James says the tongue, is very hard to control. Slippery little sucker aint it and you know. Kay. It just comes out. And isn’t it awful when you something and you’re- and it’s gone out and you’re going, “I wish I didn’t say that.” And you want to pull it back. It’s a very powerful thing, your mouth. You don’t want to underestimate it and think, “I can say what I like. But God’s still bigger- He’s gonna make things happen. He’s given you laws to live by, principles to live by- and you can’t blame Him for stuff actually has comes out of our activities.

There’s no good- if you drive on the wrong side of the road and you have a smash, don’t go down to the Roads & Traffic Authorities saying, “Hey! I had a smash you guys!” They’ll say, “What side of the road were you driving on?”

“Well, I drove on that side. I just felt like I wanted to. You know. It’s my time to drive on the other side of the road.” Well that’s – you missed the point. We do it because it’s not our fault. We have got responsibility for saying, “You know what? I’ going to use my tongue as a powerful instrument for creating the future. In the beginning of 2012, I resolve inside my self, that I’m going to control this sucker. And I’m actually gonna bring about all kinds of beautiful things in my life because God has given me the power of creativity. I’m a child of a creator. [15:55] And in my life is the same genetic code that’s in His life. He created by speaking. I am- like a child of His, will create my world by speaking into it in Jesus name.” And every body said: Amen.”

Jesus is Pringle’s wand to get what he wants. His allusions to witch craft (Harry Potter) and Christian Science indicates he possibly knows what he is peddling. If he is dead honest in his confession that ‘God’ spoke to him about this ‘secret’ , then he has heard from a demon. Pringle’s faith is not taught in Christianity. But his teaching is promoted in the metaphysical cults and the occult. Ronda Byrne’s book, ‘The Secret’ reveals Pringle’s true spirituality. Read here.

‘The Secret’ to Phil Pringle’s Doctrine of ‘Faith’

If you follow this article, we record Pringle teaching people they are “involved with a person, not just a principle, living this Christian life is a whole lot different.” This is  clearly double speak again.

Finally, to stress emphatically the source of this teaching, we would like to point out Pringle saying,

“When I first discovered this, which was nearly forty years ago, I- I was nervous about sharing it with anybody. Cos I thought, ‘If they get a hold of this, there will be too much competition. This is really good! It works! Aw! I’m not going to tell anybody! It’s like I got a secret here that-‘

The Lord said, ‘Share it and I’ll give you more’.”

Pringle indeed has “a secret”. Once you compare Pringle’s faith to New Age Rhonda Byrne’s ‘faith’ in her book ‘The Secret’ above, a plausible claim can be made that Pringle is receiving a demonic doctrine. Pringle has made a deal with a spirit that is not of God. This spirit is not the Holy Spirit. It is not God. Why? Jesus says this about the Holy Spirit,

“Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.

“I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.”  John 16:7-12

The spirit Pringle got this ‘secret’ from simply reduced Jesus to a spiritual law, confined to a sinners lips. It glorifies the sinner and takes glory away from God. This spirit has convinced Pringle that he could be like Jesus and speak to his circumstantial stones to become mammon.

It is sad to see such a man applauded by a congregation who does not test his teachings against God’s Word. If you feel led, please pray for Phil Pringle and those in the C3 movement who are deceived by his false teachings.

God Handing Phil Pringle To The ‘Strong Delusion’?

Scriptures say,

“The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thes 2:9-11

Astral projection is,

“an ecstatic . . . mystical or out-of body experience, wherein the spiritual traveller leaves the physical body and travels in his/her subtle body (or dreambody or astral body) into ‘higher’ realms (‘higher’ in the sense that they are of a higher or non-physical vibration). Here it is common to meet 4 beings of light, ancestors, the Dead etc.” – Dr. Roger J. Woolger, Beyond Death: Transition and the Afterlife, Royal College of Psychiatrists, http://www.rcpsych.ac.uk/PDF/RWoolgerTransition.pdf. (Accessed 12/08/2012.)

It is important to note that Pringle said he wanted to be like other pastors. Pringle looks up to false teachers like Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, Morris Curello, Benny Hinn and so on. He wanted to be like them by imitating the way they dress and present themselves. It seems that God handed Pringle, “a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” If you think that sounds strong, hear Pringle share his experience here:

He also talks of this experience in his book ‘Moving In The Spirit’,

“What the Holy Spirit was saying to God on my behalf was bold, but even more amazing was His attitude. It seemed as though the Holy Spirit has His hands on His hips and was reminding God of His promises. He was telling God He needed to act. He named some great ministers around the world, reminding God that He has blessed these people, and then He asked, “Now, why not Phil Pringle too? He was pleading on my behalf telling God that I was entitled to be blessed as they were! “So Lord, do it now!” was the Spirit’s bold request. It sounded like a demand.” – Phil Pringle, Moving in the Spirit, pg. 58.

But Jesus the Holy Spirit says this in regards to the Holy Spirit:

“. . . when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.” John 16:13-14

PRINGLES PREACH ON PRINCIPLES

On the 12th of February 2012, Pringle spoke at every service at C3 Sand Diego in the US. In the morning service Pingle said,

“So here’s the fascinating thing, we can understand the principle of how God does things. And often our hearts want to act independently of God using a principle of God.  And the difference between discovering principles that can be put in any motivational book, any sort of metaphysical book like ‘The Secret’ or ‘Understanding the Universe’, (you know these kind of references that have no references to the Lord but understand principles). Now there’s a principle of seed…” – Phil Pringle, God Creates With Words: 8:54, http://media.cccsandiego.com/Media/02%2012%2012%20AM.mp3, 12/02/12.

The continual push in this sermon was, “you’re involved with a person, not just a principle, living this Christian life is a whole lot different” (19:33). Sounds good right?

In one of the meetings on the 12th of February, Pringle starts promoting a book that opposes his morning message. Watch Pringle here market himself and promote his books:

http://vimeo.com/37288145

At 3:30, Pringle starts promoting his books. At 5:24 you see one of his books, ‘Faith’. This article will be examining this book. Pringle’s book ‘Faith’ encourages C3 Sandiego to do the exact opposite Pringle tells people to do.

ASK, BELIEVE, RECEIVE & FINALLY DECEIVE

To demonstrate how occult-driven Pringle’s teachings are, it is good to look at his works in comparison to modern-day New Age or New Thought material. We will compare Pringle’s book ‘Faith’ to a popular book called ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne, since he bought it up.

New Thought places great emphasis on what Byrne teaches as the ‘Law of Attraction’. Byrne also calls the ‘Law of the Attraction’ a genie, This principle has gained much popularity with  Ronda Byrne’s book ‘The Secret’, as Pringle mentioned. The principles discussed in the pages of Byrne’s book are straight out of New Thought. Pringle made the claim “these kind of things that have no references to the Lord but understand principles”. Really Pringle?

On page 47, Rhonda Byrne writes,

“The Creative Process used in The Secret, which was taken from the New Testament in the Bible, is an easy guideline for you to create what you want in three simple steps. Step 1: Ask… Step 2: Believe… Step 3: Receive…” – Rhonda Byrne, The Secret, 2006, pg. 47-51.

This creative process in ‘The Secret’ was based on this bible verse:

“And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” (Matthew 21:22)

‘The Secret’ emphasises very similar principles that Pringle does. This is the table of contents of Phil Pringle’s book ‘Faith’ (2001):

“Contents

Pringle says, “There are seven clear steps to answered prayer. Step one – desire… Step two – decide… Step three – ask… Step four – receive… Step five – speak it… Step six – see it dreams and visions… Step seven – act it.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 36-106.

In his revisited 2003 edition, even one of Pringle’s own church members reviewed his book. Clearly he taught them the practices of the New Age movement. (See thumb nail below or follow the link to read: http://www.amazon.com/Faith-Dr-Phil-Pringle/dp/0958582785.)

POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE

Rhonda Byrne teaches,

“One of the most powerful uses of gratitude can be incorporated in the Creative Process to turbo-charge what you want.” – Rhonda Byrne, The Secret, 2006, pg. 80.

“I stayed focused and held to the outcome. I felt deep feelings of gratitude in advance. As that became my state of being, the floodgates opened and all the magic flowed into our lives.” – Rhonda Byrne, The Secret, 2006, pg. 80.

This is the classic Positive Mental Attitude that Pringle also associates with the ‘faith’ he teaches. Pringle boldly teaches,

“In the new Testament, Paul’s lifestyle left people on the sideline everywhere. It seems that the man had boundless energy, undeterred purpose and an attitude of pure drive that would send today’s most ardent PMA (positive mental attitude) experts to distraction! … He saw every circumstance through the attitude of faith. He had a feeling within him. He felt that he could not be conquered. He knew His God to be the truth. He made sure that his emotions and mentallity agreed with God’s Word. He would bring his attitudes and emotions into a reflection of what God was saying, no matter what the circumstance.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 23.”  – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 23.

Pringle then tries to justify his view on PMA and faith,

“I’m not talking here about some aneamic substitute for faith called ‘positive thinking’. That may be one of the fruits of faith, but understand clearly that it is not faith itself. Faith begins with an attitude, a spirit within us, a feeling of incredible confidence. A feeling of undefeatable victory over all the circumstances. This feeling makes impossible mountains appear like miniature hills. It makes you feel on top and not underneath.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 25-26.

POWER OF FOCUS, ATTRACTION, RECEPTION & DESIRE

Rhonda Byrne teaches,

“Even though his words were saying he wanted to date more women, his innermost thoughts did not reflect that in his paintings. By deliberately choosing to change his actions, it caused him to focus his entire thought on what he wanted. With such a simple shift, he was able to paint his life and call it into exist- ence through the law of attraction.

When you want to attract something into your life, make sure your actions don’t contradict your desires. Think about what you have asked for, and make sure that your actions are mirroring what you expect to receive, and that they’re not contradicting what you‘ve asked for. Act as if you are receiving it. Do exactly what you would do if you were receiving it today, and take actions in your life to reflect that powerful expectation. Make room to receive your desires, and as you do, you are sending out that powerful signal of expectation.” – Rhonda Byrne, The Secret, 2006, pg 115.

Pringle teaches,

“Let’s remember that faith involves the heart as well as the mouth. When people grasp the importance of possibilities of “speaking it” they may become excited about the possibilities of confession and ignore the fact that it needs to be a faith of the heart. This just leaves them with just a lot of positive statements and not necessarily a real faith… When our hearts believe one thing and our mouths are saying another we are deluding ourselves and lying to others.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 72-73.

“If a man knows what he wants, then he is in a position to decide that he will get it. This is faith. The determined decision of a man with desire.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 43.

“The promises of God become the power of God when they are believed and acted upon.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 149.

“The main point here is that we are to desire something before faith can come into play. Our desires are of value to God. It’s His will to fulfill our dreams. When we are delighting in the Lord, our dreams and desires are formed in His Spirit, timing and purpose.” – Phil Pringle Faith, 2001, pg 39.

What’s the difference? Forget God. Pringle teaches on the powers of his principles of faith that don’t require God at all.

POWER OF VISION

‘The Secret’ says on vision:

“I always say, when the voice and the vision on the inside become more profound, clear, and loud than the opinions on the outside, you ‘ve mastered your life!” – Rhonda Byrne, The Secret, 2006, pg 146.

Pringle teaches on vision:

“To perceive is to see. The kind of vision and perception we are talking about is of the mind. A faith vision is an incredibly powerful creative force… This also relates to the realm of impossibility – a thing you can’t see ever happening because of the impossibility of it. Experience can tell you that it doesn’t happen. The Knowledge tells you that it can” happen. The facts tell you it wont happen. Yet your faith tells you that it’s a reality. It will happen. You can see it happening, against all the odds. You need faith for what you cannot see, not for what you can see.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 99-100.

POWER OF VISUALISATION

Finally, Ronda Byrne also teaches on visualisation:

“Visualization is the process of creating pictures in your mind of yourself enjoying what you want. When you visualize, you generate powerful thoughts and feelings of having it now. The law of attraction then returns that reality to you, just as you saw it in your mind.” – Rhonda Byrne, The Secret, 2006, pg 93.

Pringle also teaches on visualisation (watch how he approaches scriptures with his experiences):

“A long after that experience, I looked back and realized that many of the elements I had seem in the imaginations in my mind were a duplicate of what actually happened. I had stumbled on to a principle of God. As I investigated the Scriptures, it became obvious to me that God spoke to His servants from the beginning of time through visions and dreams. Here we’re looking at the vision of faith. As soon as a real faith for anything arrives in your heart, you will see that thing.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 94-97.

“In Ephesians 3:20 Paul says that “God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.” The Greek word for “think” here is “no’eo.” This literally means “to conceive and perceive.” Once we are visualizing some-thing, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above it.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 103.

“Gods movies. There is a screen within our mind upon which three projectors are jostling for prime time… He [God] has a projector with a preset, wonderful destiny as the main feature. As we enter the Spirit through praise and worship, God will form His vision within our thinking. We pray the prayer of faith. The vision of the answer comes to mind and we see it, in living colour… Once the vision of the fulfillment of your dream has been planted in your mind, bring it to your prayer life. Each time you pray bring the picture to mind and meditate on it. See it happening. Destroy all the images of failure. Replace them with the image of success.

Right now in my life I spend much time dreaming over my visions of faith. I know this works. I would be a fool to ignore it. Remember, one of the mightiest keys in the Kingdom of Heaven is faith. Vision is a major part of faith, for we walk by faith and not by sight. Faith is directly contrasted to natural eye sight.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 103.

WHY PRINGLE IS WORSE THAN BYRNE

It should be apparent by now. Pringle does not know the difference between putting confidence in the sinful flesh and putting faith in Jesus alone. What’s worse, Pringle’s teachings are more extreme than Byrne’s. Pringle is teaching the metaphysical cult teachings of New Thought (which is linked to occultism).

“Faith knows it’s there [the object of your desires] because it has the substance of the experience, or the thing, in itself. Faith is a substance of a “thing” it feels the “thing” existing within the heart right now. Because it exists inside me I know that it exists. Somehow my faith has rebelled against normal time restrictions, travelled out into the future, plugged into this thing and translated the substance of it back to me here in the now.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 55.

He also blatantly LIES with his handling of Hebrews 11:1. There is no amplified bible that translates Hebrews 11:1 the way he says it does.

“We believe that we have the answer to our prayer before our five senses tell us so. The Amplified Bible interprets Hebrews 11:1 as “Faith perceives as a reality what is not revealed to the five senses.”

Faith is like an additional sense. A spiritual sense… Thus we walk by faith, that is, an inner substance, an inner reality that cannot be seen by anyone else. The conclusion is that we don’t wait until we receive a thing before we believe that we have it. We get it before we get it.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 56.

PRINGLE’S PREPOSTEROUS PROSPERITY PRINCIPLES

Pringle simply is not putting a relationship with God first. As we see, he is not preaching anything from the bible that promotes the truths of God. Instead he is teaching lies to Christians to dabble in deism, (the metaphysical world view that the universe is governed by impersonal, spiritual laws rather than a personal, sovereign God).

“When this principle first began operating in my life I had never heard anyone so much mention the idea of receiving a thing before receiving it. If they had, I may have written them off as having had too much pizza the night before! It sounds strange to the natural man. But that’s always the way with the laws of God. They are indecipherable to the natural man. In Isaiah 55 God declares His “ways are not our ways”. He says that His ways are “higher” than our ways. Like the difference between heaven and earth, flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s Kingdom. It’s a spiritual Kingdom. It runs on spiritual principles. We must understand these principles and operate within them if we are ever to do anything of eternal value for God. Trying to build a spiritual Kingdom by means of the flesh is a sure recipe for burn-out and failure.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 58.

Because of his approach to his understanding of faith being prosperous, he can’t separate his more serious damaging teaching.

“When Paul told the Philippians that God would supply all their need… their generosity would trigger one of the most powerful spiritual laws in existence. It is the law that the widow of Zarephath discovered when Elijah told her to give away her last meal… For the provision of God constantly to be at work in our lives we must activate the laws of God.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 153.

These are the giving laws recognised in the Word of Faith Movement such as the ‘tithe’ and ‘seed faith’ heresies. Believers are taught to obey these so they may be graced or favoured with the Gods miracles. This is salvation by works. As a result, Pringle curses Christians by the very ‘faith’ he says we must live by.

“This especially applies in the world of tithing. Tithing in one sense is not actually giving. The tithe belongs to God, not to us. Malachi the prophet says that when we keep the tithe we are actually “robbing God”.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 155.

“When we withhold the tithe we bring upon ourselves a curse.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 156.

“Thirdly, WHEN we sow determines when we will reap. We need to sow well before we plan to reap. The time to sow is not when you have a need. You are to be constantly sowing your world with generous actions of faith. Oral Roberts has called this “seed faith”. Anyone who plants a seed has faith that it will become a plant in time. We all realize that it’s not going to happen overnight, but faith and patience inherit the promises of God.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 156-157.

CONCLUSION

As a result in dabbling between both the Christian and occult camps, he continually speaks with two tongues and condemns himself and others.

“The words we speak contain great power. However, it is important that we focus on the positive aspect of the power of the tongue rather than the negative… When we ignore the spirit of Scripture we reduce truth to formulae, empty ceremonies and at worst, superstitions. The Word of God is extremely powerful and must be “handled accurately”(2 Timothy 2:15).” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 70-72.

“Again we see the correlation between the heart and the mouth. The heart must be in harmony with the mouth and the mouth with the heart. Saying the right words is not like some magical formula that will make a thing happen. A positive confession is not like saying “Abracadabra, Open Sesame”. This thinking has the disastrous effect in the reverse.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 74.

“Faith is lifeless unless you act on it. T.L. Osbourne says: “When the promises of God are believed and acted upon they become the power of God”. We can do all the things we have previously talked about about: desire, decision, prayer, speaking faith, seeing the answer, but if we don’t act our faith it is all to no avail.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg

“The “fearful” are at the top of the list of those who are thrown into the lake of fire.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 108.

This is a pitiful faith that hopefully, no Christian should ever want. This is faith by works and laws. This is not faith. This is confidence in the flesh. As Paul says about true Christianity,

“… We are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh…” Philipians 3:3

If you feel lead to pray for the spiritual state of Phil Pringle and the C3 Movement please do so. No Christian should have to put with this kind of false teaching. No one should be bound by it.

EDIT: Not looking at his book faith, also compare the following teachings between Phil Pringle & Ronda Byrne:

Both teach that the writers of the bible were exceedingly wealthy,

“If you have been brought up to beheve that being wealthy is not
spiritual, then I highly recommend you read The Millionaires of
the Bible Series by Catherine Ponder. In these glorious books you
will discover that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, and Jesus
were not only prosperity teachers, but also millionaires them-
selves, with more affluent lifestyles than many present-day mil-
lionaires could conceive of.” – Ronda Byrne, The Secret, 2006, pg. 109.

“And you need to understand. The bible, (this is kind of a shocking thought for some people), it’s been written by some of the wealthiest people in history. If you got Bill Gates to write a chapter, Warren Buffett to write a chapter, the telecommunications guy in Mexico  (I forgotten his name) to write a chapter, (the three richest men in the world), that’s what the bible is! It’s these unbelievably, extraordinary, successful people who’ve written this book and said, ‘Do these kind of things and life’s going to work for you’.” – Phil Pringle, Financial Excellence AM, 8:15, 22/05/2011.

Both encourage self talk,

And so immediately after you say, “I am tired” or “I am broke” or “I am sick” or “I am late” or “I am overweight” or “I am old,” the Genie says, “Your wish is my command.” Knowing this, wouldn’t it be a good idea to begin to use the two most powerful words, / AM, to your advantage? How about, “I AM receiving every good thing. I AM happy I AM abundant. I AM healthy. I AM love. I AM always on time. I AM eternal youth. I AM filled with energy every single day.” – Ronda Byrne, The Secret, 2006, pg. 168.

“Self talk has become fashionable in many circles of people attempting to improve themselves in any number of areas of their lives. It’s truth that has been in God’s Word for thousands of years. We should develop a set of statements that we regularly speak to ourselves. This creates a faith about who we are and what we can achieve. Here are some examples.

I like my life. I love my job… I’m a happy person. I’m a peaceful person… I speak the right kind of words. Inside the sun is shining everyday. I find solutions to problems. I find answers to questions. I find what I’m looking for. Doors open to me. My mind is healthy. My emotions are stable. I’m happy with the way I look… I love serving God. I’m a creative person. I’m a fit person. I’m looking forward to tomorrow. I’m glad about my past. All things are working together for good in my life.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 94-97.

A subscriber to C3 Church Watch gave us some interesting insight to the Pringle’s beginnings.

“In Phil’s book he talks about hundreds of converts coming into the church after he was saved. The first ‘hippy’ type convert at the AOG Sydneham, Christchurch at that time was a guy called Leigh Hoskins. who had a more dramatic experience than Phil. Leigh took me along the night he was saved . I was saved about three weeks after Leigh. I was the second hippy type convert at that time. Leigh used to winess to me nearly every day so effectively he was the catalyst for the revival. Leigh and I witnessed to scores of people before Phil and Chris came to church and already young people were coming in. Phil and Chris personally didn’t bring large numbers in but the church was already starting to multiply. Our church wasn’t the only one with this sort of revival. Ray Comfort was saved at the same time in another church on the otherside of town with a similar ‘revival’. The effectiveness of the Pringle’s early ‘ministry’ is highly debatable as most of their ‘disciples’ drifted by the wayside. Even their best friends and first converts, Wayne and Anne Tyndale dropped out after a couple of years and the last I heard several years ago they were still backslidden.” – Gary MacDougall, http://www.facebook.com/groups/c3churchwatch/291925204197120/, 6:24pm, 24/01/2012. Below is an article of what C3 wants you to read about their beginnings. Read this to compare the differences of reporting between the events.

The History of Phil Pringle & The C3 Movement

Gary MacDougall has politely provided his insight and his testimony in that time period. Thank you Mr MacDougall for your honesty, work, time and integrity.

Gary MacDougall Testimony

I was born again about 35 years ago at AOG, Sydneham, Christchurch, New Zealand, in the seventies hippy era. The first ‘hippy’ type convert at the AOG Sydneham, Christchurch, where I was born again, at that time, was a guy called Leigh Hoskins. Leigh had a far more dramatic experience than myself or Phil and Chris Pringle of C3 Church, and all other converts who started coming. Leigh took me along to the AOG church, the night he was saved . In fact I had just returned from Auckland, doing a meditation course, and was waiting for a taxi at the Christchurch train station at about 7.15pm on a Thursday night, over 35 years ago, when Leigh drove by and stopped to talk to me. I had never met Leigh before but a mutual friend was with him in his little car. Leigh was on his way to AOG for the Thursday night young people’s meeting at 7.30pm. Leigh had the longest and thickest hair I have ever seen on a male (in real life and in photos) and this guy was really wild!

Why would he be going to church? On the previous Tuesday night he took enough LSD to last 48 hours. As soon as his trip started he saw flames and demons around him and he thought he was in hell. However when he was a child he went to Sunday school and, at that time, his mother had been praying and fasting for forty days for his salvation. Leigh called out to Jesus as loud as he could at the beginning of his ‘hell experience.’ …”Jesus”, “Jesus”, ‘Jesus save me” he called out for help. His trip instantly stopped, when he mentioned the name of Jesus, which is obviously a miracle. He then rang the AOG church because his mother belonged to that denomination and she was attending another AOG church in the North Island. A deacon from the  church told Leigh to go along on the next Thursday night which was the  divine appointment whereby I met him i.e. two days after Leigh’s ‘hell experience.’ Leigh’s actually going to church was another miracle because the devil had two days to talk him out of it. Leigh was saved that night when we attended the young people’s meeting. By the way the conservative, young church folk at that time had never before seen anything like us guys up close with our long hair and hippy clothes. Leigh used to come round and talk to me about Jesus regularly and I could see that he was transformed. Leigh experienced a more dramatic conversion than myself, the Pringles or any others who followed. A church member bought him a whole new set of clothes when he was first saved and after about two weeks he had full haircut i.e. short back insides. He brought many people into our church. I was saved about three weeks after Leigh . It took many months for myself and Phil Pringle to get our hair trimmed and then only gradually. Although at the beginning I did have a clean shave and got rid of my beard. Phil had long hair for quite a while indicating that the inner transformation was slow. Leigh was quickly transformed in his heart and life.

The church already had about 200-250 solid members when Leigh and I  joined.  Leigh was witnessing full time and effectively he was the catalyst for the revival at AOG , Sydneham. He was the original young evangelist of the church and because he had such a dramatic outward appearance change he was effective with his old friends. I believe the ’revival’ at AOG Sydneham began through Leigh Hoskins although others have taken credit for it. When saved I joined up with Leigh with evangelizing. When I was first saved for the first two years or so I spent about 5-6 hours per day praying and reading the word and then a few hours evangelizing and attending meetings at our church and others nearly every day of the week. I walked-no bicycle just walking. The Pringles were more upmarket than myself-they had bicycles. It used to take me about a 45 minute walk each way to church from where I lived with another couple of stronger Christian guys. Leigh and I witnessed to scores of people before Phil and Chris Pringle of C3 Church came to our church several weeks after I was saved and already young people were coming into AOG Sydenham. Phil and Chris personally didn’t bring large numbers in but the church was already starting to multiply. Leigh and I motivated Phil and Chris with evangelizing. However before we came along the church had a few really effective and dedicated personal evangelists, one of them being Morrie Tattle, a businessman who was the man who helped Leigh with his new clothes. The church also had a lot of serious prayer warriors and dedicated Christians. The prayer warriors were the key to the ‘revival’ but everyone forgets them and pat themselves on the back and blow their own trumpets.

Whilst Leigh had a dramatic outward change it took some time before he was baptized and a couple of years to sort out his life towards normality. In my own personal case, if I said I was zapped the night I was saved, healed, delivered and baptized, I would be dead set the world’s biggest liar and con. It didn’t happen that way. God does NOT wave a magic wand. From a hippy type lifestyle one inherits many evil influences and even evil spirits. It took many months for me to be healed in my mind from the effects of drugs and about one year  to be completely delivered. It took about one year before I was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. This is logical…because of my lifestyle I had some evil spirit possession. A Christian needs to be set free of this before being filled with the Holy Spirit. Physically I could not do any more, as I was praying and reading the word to the max…and also fasting a lot-up to 21 days. However God works in His way and own time to heal and release us. Basically there are no Hollywood style dramatic zappings.

Our church wasn’t the only one with this sort of revival. Ray Comfort was saved at the same time in another church on the other side of town with a similar ‘revival’. The Elim church in N.Z. also experienced a revival at the same time.

Peter Morrow’s New Life Centre had about ten times the number of people in their main church and it was experiencing growth as well. That church had some fantastic Christians with amazing testimonies as well.

As I went to all the meetings in the years of the revival in our church I was there the night Phil and Chris Pringle of C3 Church were saved.  Phil talks about the night he was saved and claims he was delivered and filled with the Holy Spirit and all his problems taken away that night. Anyone reading this would think it was a Damascus Road experience like the Apostle Paul. Wrong!  The main deacon who counseled him that night told me personally that Phil was only counseled about salvation. I spoke to the Pringle’s after their salvation also that night and it was exciting they were saved but from my recollection nothing like what Phil describes in his book. I encouraged them to keep coming back and eventually after considerable time they had some deliverance and were filled with the Holy Spirit. In those days at our church ‘deliverance’ was not done the way Jesus did by just rebuking the devils. The deacons used to jump up and down shouting at the demons, pleading the blood and shaking you. I know first hand because I went through this sort of carry on myself. It usually took a few hours and was not instantaneous as in Bible days.

Peter Driscoll and John Graham were the youth leaders and had been for a long time and were great Christian leaders in our church. They were also good teachers of sound doctrine. However the pastors of the church, the Barton’s, tried to push the Pringles into their position. It was like two young people’s groups contending for the new converts, within the church. This was one of the reasons the Barton’s were voted out of the church by the members.

Also the members didn’t like the way the Bartons were focusing on the Pringles at the expense of the rest of the flock. The Bartons also used the Church’s money to buy a large house, called Hebron House, for the Pringles and new converts.  There was a lot of flack about that , especially as the real estate agent was a member within our church. Hebron house eventually became a burden for the church and the church ditched it. Of Course the agent in the church sold it.

Fortunately in my early Christian life I went to the sound teaching meetings of Peter Driscoll and John Graham and didn’t get led astray by the crazy stuff going on at Hebron House where the Pringles were operating. The Pringle’s could not teach sound doctrine to the new converts as they were only learning themselves. They had many problems themselves and were basically transferring that to new converts. If the new converts had been exposed to the sound teaching meetings of Peter and John they would probably be Christians today as most of the new Christians under the Pringle’s “ministry” at Hebron House, backslid. Also they had come from strong New age and hippy backgrounds and weren’t delivered from those influences at the time. The effectiveness of the Pringle’s early ‘ministry’ is highly debatable as most of their ‘disciples’ drifted by the wayside. Even their best friends and first converts, Wayne and Anne Tyndale dropped out after a couple of years and the last I heard several years ago they were still backslidden.

The Pringles were a big factor in the split of the church when the Bartons and Pringles left. The Pringles influenced most of the young people to leave as well but I stayed at the church until many years later and then I moved to Australia. In fact the split caused by the Pringles and Bartons, also caused John Graham and Peter Driscoll to leave the church  as well, which was a pity. The scenario with the Pringles and Bartons sent the church into turmoil and it took about a year to stabilize.

Fortunately in my early Christian life, I met an elderly Christian man, similar to Job in the Bible, who lived next door to where I was living. He helped stabilize my Christian life while the disruptions in the church were occurring. For 2-3 years I used to go to his house for a couple of hours at a time for extra bible study. He was house bound due to sickness and I was his only visitor apart from his son who visited maybe twice a year. No-one from his church visited him.

I also had regular spiritual support from a strong Christian couple and from time to time even scored a lift by car to and from church. That was great because it saved the 45 minute walk each way. But the downside was I couldn’t witness when going by car, like I could when walking.

During this time I was living by faith. The Pringles and other new converts at Hebron House had their needs supplied by the church, which funded everything for the house group. Maybe at this stage the Pringles realized you could live off the church and even make money through it. I had to daily believe God for my needs and of course he provided. I did not have to bludge money out of the church. God was my source. In fact I never had any support from the church. God miraculously provided.

When my elderly neighbour died I stayed with the elderly deaconess of our church in a self contained flat under her house on the hill overlooking the city. By then I had progressed to a bicycle and used to bike all around the city delivering tracts which I produced and paid for myself. My first tract, which I had printed about the time the Pringles were saved, was a black and white one called “Hippie redeemed from Destruction” with before and after photos of myself. I think I had about  5,000 of those printed which I personally handed out. My next one was similar but with the title “Searching”, with the before and after photos. I maybe had 10,000 of those printed and I personally gave out. Then I did one with a red cover with the word “Revolution…” on the front. (this was the time of Chairman Mao). Inside as part of the “revolution…” I had  “…of Love” and the story of God’s love. Then I had printed a four sided booklet in full colour titled “The Desert Shall Blossom as The Rose” with my testimony again. I had 25,000 printed and personally gave out each one. Then before I moved to Australia I printed a dramatic black and white with the words “IF you Died in the Next Two Minutes Where would you spend Eternity?” I printed enough for every single Post Office box in New Zealand and paid NZ post a fee to deliver. That one was very effective.

While all these things were happening and a couple of years after I was saved I started studying landscaping and eventually expanded into Australia and moved over to Brisbane to start a new business there designing landscapes. In Brisbane

I attended Garden City Church which is an AOG and later Christian Outreach Centre. I ended up getting some work opportunities on the Gold Coast , one hour from Brisbane and started my business there and became very successful on the Gold Coast. About six years ago, the pastor of the AOG church I was attending, had an outreach in Vietnam and I ended up funding the venture and his trip and coming over with him. On that trip I came in contact with a client doing a big project and started coming over every 2-3 months. I met my Vietnamese wife here and got married and moved over and started building up business in Vietnam. Now I design landscapes in Vietnam and live in Nha Trang near the central Coast. In fact the city is similar to what the Gold Coast was like 20 years ago. I now attend the Evangelical Church of Vietnam.”

About This Blog

This blog is about monitoring the C3 ‘Church’ movement. The head of this movement is Phil Pringle.

    1. We will be observing the C3 Movement’s values by critically examining their beliefs.
    2. We will be examining their teachings by comparing their doctrines, behaviours and methods to the historical texts of the bible.
    3. We will be learning about Phil Pringle, head of the C3 movement, by exploring his history, knowing his influences, sources and correctly defining his language.
    4. We will be monitoring the C3 organisation’s vision, events/issues and outcomes and compare them to the standards of the gospel and New Testament church, revealed in the New Testament scriptures.
    5. We will be testing Phil Pringle’s spirituallity by comparing the persons of the trinity in the bible with Pringle’s ‘Godly’ encounters, his Jesus and his prophecies from ‘God’.
We encourage people to view our LoveIs Policy Statement.
About The C3 Organisation & Movement

In 1980, New Zealand born Phil Pringle and his wife Chris, (supposedly) started Christian City Church in Sydney. Their church today is located at Oxford Falls. This blog is designed to watch and monitor C3 Church Oxford Falls and it’s pastors, specifically Phil Pringle. Today they have many C3 organisations around the world…

Why We Started This Blog

This blog does not intend to make money from people. This blog exists solely to warn people of the dangerous C3 Church. The main desire of C3ChurchWatch is to warn and inform people about this dangerous church, those both inside and outside the movement. We ask for your prayers both for us and those caught in the C3 Church Movement.
