Who Is The Liar? Phil Pringle Or God?

The scriptures say,

“You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you… After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort? Have you suffered so much for nothing—if it really was for nothing?” Galatians 3:1-4, NASB

“But now that you know God—or rather are known by God—how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?” Galatians 4:9, NASB

“Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law.You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.” I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion will pay the penalty, whoever he may be.” Galatians 5:2-10, NASB

The scriptures also say,

“He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,” Titus 3:5, NASB, (Emphasis mine)

Before Pringle ‘lovingly’ bashes his critics (7:22), Pringle once again teaches people at C3 they can earn God’s grace by works. More specifically – if you give money, God gives you access to ‘grace’.

“And as you and I become givers in the kingdom of God, we’re gonna find ourselves accessing this grace. This unbelievable, inexhaustible, unending grace of God. Empowering you to have an abundance for every good work.” (6:57)

Click the time link above to see him make that specific comment or watch him say it in it’s proper context below.

You would have noticed C3 had plastered behind Phil Pringle this ‘scripture’:

“He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.” Titus 3:5

Was this orchestrated? Was this a coincidence? We can conclude it is very convenient for the scripture to be edited the way it was so Pringle could peddle this false doctrine that clearly contradicted the edited scripture. How is the moral and honest behaviour? Is this not leading people away from fundamental Christianity?

EDIT 05/05/2012: On the 4th of May, Phil Pringle twittered that his “media guys” had put something together to help with his message this coming weekend.

http://twitter.com/#!/philpringle/status/198306016620838912

This is insightful for us to understand what goes on behind the scenes. It seems safe to say that Phil Pringle endorses the content in regards to what his “media guys” present in his sermons. With this in mind, it is highly likely that Phil Pringle gave them the distorted Titus 3:5 scripture that read, “He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit”.

Pringle Denies Preaching The Prosperity Gospel

We simply ask you watch this below snippet and decide for yourself this question: Is Pringle preaching ‘another gospel’?

And he got his ‘doctorate’ how?

Pringle Denies Preaching The Prosperity Gospel

Phil Pringle made the statement,

“And the deal – some people accuse that – just what I said then, saying, ‘Oah! That’s prosperity gospel’ or whetever. I’ve never preached a gospel other than about Jesus my whole life. That’s the gospel: Jesus Christ. Beginning and end. You know I got no other message then that one.” – Phil Pringle, Steven Furtick ‘Stay Behind The Guide’, http://www2.myc3church.net/videos/steven-furtick-%E2%80%98stay-behind-guide, C3 Church Oxford Falls, 15/04/2012.

It’s odd that Pringle says that he preaches “the gospel: Jesus Christ. Beginning and end. You know I got no other message then that one.”

Below is the context of the above clip. While watching the video, ask yourself these questions:

Did he preach just “no other message” but “the gospel: Jesus Christ”?

Is he preaching prosperity gospel nonsense?

Is he contradicting himself?

You decide: Is Pringle preaching Jesus or prosperity nonsense?

Phil Pringle Prophesies A Money Multiplication Anointing On His Leaders

In May 2011 after the Presence Conference 2011, Pringle said in his leaders meeting,

“But I do know that I have super confidence in the areas of barren couples. You know or- that’s a bad statement. But, people who can’t have children. I just know it’s going to work! And there are some healings, I know it’s going to work. And I try not to promise beyond that knowing. So that only- if I know that a thing is going to happen do I- what I move towards saying, ‘This is going to happen.'” (00:26-00:55)

He also said,

“But I do believe that – and this is a surprising thing to me because I never, ever felt this in my whole life before – that things are going to multiply. That people are going to walk out of our church services and money is going to multiply in their pockets. Now I know all of you are wanting to run out right now and just check it out. Hahahaha!

Some of you haven’t got any money to multiply! And Sheralyn, you know I do believe what you said before that baptised in the Holy Spirit… And what was the other one? And baptised by water. Yeah but you missed out tithing.

Yeah, you see now there’s all sorts of problems if a person doesn’t tithe. And so the multiplying will be held up on you. But the blessing – oh! you went quiet right there. And uh, you know- but um. But it’s true! The multiplying power of God, I believe, is going to come on everybody. Everybody! While I was sitting in this, in this [meeting?] tonight I thought, I was thinking, “This anointing is going to get on everybody! I can taste it! I can smell it! It’s in the atmosphere.” (00:56-02:10)

Criticise Elisha Or C3 Church & You’ll Sever The Spirit Of God Over Your Family

This is a very manipulative sermon by Phil Pringle.

Not only are the scriptures mangled for his gain, Pringle abuses the gift of God’s salvation by threatening people in his congregation of losing their salvation if they question or get critical about church or the pastor. The bible scriptures in this sermon do not support what he teaches.

The allegory he uses for the scriptures borders on idiocy. He teaches the womans house is Pringle’s ‘house of God’ and people need to financially support what Pringle is doing. The issue with this allegory is if it is her home – isn’t it her ‘house of God’? Doesn’t this mean people should invest in their own homes for a ‘prophet’ who might come their way so they can bless that prophet THEN be blessed?

How could Pringle make the bible about himself and suggest that people need to make room for him as an Elisha-like prophetic figure?

Below are quotes from the above sermon:

“I found this: that every time a parent or a family start to get critical about the church, one of the first things that happens is that the kids stop coming. And if you want to cut out your family and your legacy from the house of God, just get critical. Just start to defend your position and justify a resistance to what God is doing with some criticism – and you’ll find it actually severs the Spirit.” (13:22)

Pringle puts a figure on those who have back-slidden from his ministry but labels himself a prophet,

“All the thousands of decisions that we’ve seen of people come to Christ, there must be ten thousand back-slidden people in this city right now, that if they were bought in to the house of God where a prophet is and where the life of God is, they’ll find themselves getting revived…” (16:04)

Pringle wants prophets in his life that make him profit,

“That’s the kind of prophet I want to have. You know, people talk about prophets rising up in this hour. We need to have prophets who will tell us what shares to buy. Amen! About when to buy a property, when to sell a property, what property to buy. We need prophets who are a profit, amen!” (19:52)

Pringle says God will repay people ANYTHING they’ve lost if they support Elisha’s Pringle’s house of God,

“When you make room for God, ANYTHING that you have lost is gonna be restored to you and you will find that God is the repayer of people who build his house!” (21:43)

“We’re making room for the future. Right here in this house. At this point, we don’t have a child that’s ten thousand people strong. But we’re going too. And we need to make space today. Cos we’re gonna be bursting at the seams. And every single one of you can be involved in making that space for God right here and right now.” (22:32)

Is Phil Pringle A Deceitful Schemer?

12 Monday Mar 2012

Scriptures say,

“… we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming.” Ephesians 4:14

Pringle says in his below advert to his church.

“Above all I feel that it’s really important to feed his sheep. And the food for God’s flock is the Word of God. It’s not my thoughts or anything else. It’s the scriptures being brought to life. And that feeds God’s people and builds the church. I think most of the discipling processes, most of the growing processes, most of God speaking to people, etc. even supernatural ministry, can take place through the preaching of God’s Word.” – Phil Pringle, SUNDAY NIGHT CHURCH // DOORS OPEN 5.30pm , Youtube,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZILrlQNqMw,
Uploaded by CCCOF on Dec 6, 2011.

[youtube:http://youtu.be/ZazD9czwqyU%5D

It is clear that he is either double-minded on this issue or lying.

Pringle says this truth:

“… if we find ourselves trying to find Scriptures to validate pet theories we are attracted to, we may compromise the power of the Gospel… This approach to Scripture is dangerous. It is a bag of mixed seed.” – Phil Pringle, You The Leader, 2005, pg 213.

However, Pringle promotes that he and others should preach a bag of mixed seed.

“What we preach is what we get. We are farmers sowing seed. If we are unhappy with the harvest we’re reaping, we should sow different seed. If we want different results, we preach different messages.” – Phil Pringle, You The Leader, 2005, pg 215.

Pringle has made it obvious that he comes with a mindset, an agenda to get what he wants from his congregation. From knowing he has an agenda, it is right to conclude that sometimes Pringle, “feeds God’s people” to get what he wants from them. This is manipulation. And Pringle will tell you,

“I don’t approach Sundays with an attitude of, “What message shall I preach?” but rather, “What do we want to achieve in our church at this time?” That desired end result determines what and how I preach. Then, within the particular message, I ask myself, “What am I trying to achieve here? What one thing am I attempting to say? What do I want these people to have or do at the end of this time?’
Then I follow the plan.” – Phil Pringle, You The Leader, pg. 234.

In other words, he doesn’t trust the bible. He doesn’t trust the Word of God enough to open it and just let the text speak for itself. Pringle says,

“Words and deeds are seeds we sow. As a leader I soften the soil (the hearts) of the people I lead. I remove weeds and pests from the young plant. I arrange the weather, warm, sunny, watery encouragement. Then I harvest the crop fully grown.” – Phil Pringle, The Leadership Files Vol 2, File 38. Seeds, 2002.

In the above quotes, Pringle says it is HIMSELF that preaches. It is him who gives what he wants to get people to do what he wants. How can he say in the video, “And the food for God’s flock is the Word of God. It’s not my thoughts or anything else. It’s the scriptures being brought to life”?

It get’s worse, as Pringle says,

“Often I haven’t even got any idea at all what I’m going to talk about cos I spend most my week gearing up for Sunday morning… So I leave myself kind of free for whatever the Lord wants to lay on my heart for Sunday night.” – Phil Pringle, Your Best Life: 11:05-12:10, 31/01/2009.

With that in mind, the entire video comes across like a facade than an actual portrayal of how Pringle prepares many of his sermons. This is hypocrisy. Jesus said,

“So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.” – Matthew 6:2

In calling the religious leaders hypokritēs, (ὑποκριτής), Jesus is calling them the “actor, stage player, a dissembler, pretender”. This is exactly how Pringle is behaving in this instance in the above video. He is acting. He is pretending. This isn’t humility. This isn’t honesty. He has the stage. He has got his show.

It should be clear that Pringle:

1. Does not feed his sheep.

2. Preaches messages that are based on his own vain philosophies.

3. Does not rely on the Word of God to disciple Christians and grow Christians.

4. Does not rely on the Word of God to speak to Christians.

Sadly, he has continually demonstrated his ability to mangle and pervert the teachings of God for his own gain. Pringle has a track record of being biblically incompetent. The article below is continually being updated on C3’s bad handling of the bible:

C3′S BIBLE GARBLE
