CityNews Recalls Pringle’s Prophecy: “The Church Would Double Its Size, But Only After A Trying Time”

Only CityNews could have exposed another false prophecy of Phil Pringle. They write,

“Building on the previous week’s message of believing and confessing, the theme of spiritual warfare sought to rouse the congregation to consecrate themselves through prayer, fasting and reading the Word as the church enters one of the most challenging periods of its history, bringing to mind a prophesy that Phil Pringle, CHC’s advisory pastor, had uttered four years ago.

On March 16, 2008, Pringle had declared that the church would double its size, but only after a trying time; its people would have emerged from the wilderness, from a trial, a fight with the devil, and opposition from all sides. Indeed, the trial came five years later in June 2012 as charges were brought against the church’s leaders.”

This raises a few concerns.

1. We alerted readers to the fact that that Kong Hee and Phil Pringle aren’t even honest with church attendance figures.[Read Here] If Pringle is unafraid to often exaggerate church figures, why should we trust this prophecy?

2. By the way it is reported, Pringle speaks on behalf of God, demonising  “opposition from all sides” that come against CHC. (Typical Phil.) The fact that Kong alerts this audience to the Pringle’s ‘prophecy’ allows him to again demonise Kong and CHC whether their opposition’s criticisms are valid or not.

However this next point is the most concerning aspect of the so-called ‘prophecy’.

3. We have exposed again and again that Phil Pringle is a false prophet and as  a result can not be used by God to speak honestly on the Holy Spirit’s behalf. His false prophecies over a church often conclude that church will either experience revival, grow prosperously or increase greatly in attendance. [Read Here]

Knowing that it is impossible for God to speak through false prophets such as Pringle, our question is this:

What did Phil Pringle know about Kong Hee and CHC in 2008 that made him ‘prophesy’ CHC would face “opposition from all sides” but come out of “a trial” (or “emerge from the wilderness”) that would result in their church growing?

CHCs propaganda rag reports,

Arise & Build: A House Of Consecration

…

Consecrating oneself through prayer, praise, profession and prophecy is the weapon the believer uses to bring revival to the nations.

By Michelle Heng

Mark 4 is not a passage usually quoted in the context of spiritual warfare, but in his sermon over the weekend of Oct. 6 and 7, the second of seven weeks before City Harvest Church begins its Arise & Build season, senior pastor Kong Hee shared that Jesus was not rebuking the natural elements of wind and water when He silenced the storm.

Instead, He was silencing a demonic entity in the storm that had wanted to stop Jesus and His disciples from reaching Gadara, a part of the Decapolis, a group of 10 cities that eventually played a vital role in early church history.

Demonic principalities rule over geographical territories, and these forces have to be resisted and dethroned before the kingdom of God can be established and revival can come to a nation.

The significance of the figure “10” is not lost on CHC—the church’s outreach efforts during its Crossover Project impacted 10 nations in Asia; additionally, Singapore is part of ASEAN (the Association of Southeast Asian Nations), which comprises 10 nations: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore.

Building on the previous week’s message of believing and confessing, the theme of spiritual warfare sought to rouse the congregation to consecrate themselves through prayer, fasting and reading the Word as the church enters one of the most challenging periods of its history, bringing to mind a prophesy that Phil Pringle, CHC’s advisory pastor, had uttered four years ago.

On March 16, 2008, Pringle had declared that the church would double its size, but only after a trying time; its people would have emerged from the wilderness, from a trial, a fight with the devil, and opposition from all sides. Indeed, the trial came five years later in June 2012 as charges were brought against the church’s leaders.

Kong also shared a documented account of a missionary who ministered at the Brazil-Uruguay border. When this minister approached people to give out tracts at the Uruguayan side of the border, people immediately rejected him and refused to hear him speak. On the other side, however, the Brazilians were extremely open to hear the gospel.

One day, this missionary approached a woman with a tract on the Uruguayan side; twice he was rejected by her. When she crossed over to Brazil, he was prompted to approach her one more time. To his surprise, she had a total change of attitude and opened up her heart to hear him. Later, he learned that a group of intercessors had been praying years for an open heaven over Brazil.

“Revival begins and ends with geographical boundaries, and we need to pull down strongholds over each country.” Kong said.

THE DUTY OF RESISTING IS OURS TO CARRY OUT

Kong cited a 1952 incident that happened to American preacher Kenneth E. Hagin, in which he had a vision of Jesus, and He was giving him important instructions. A demon then appeared, attempting to distract him by making noise and throwing dark smoke up such that it blocked his vision of Jesus.

Wondering why Jesus was not doing anything about the demonic nuisance in front of him, Hagin, finally exasperated, commanded the demon to stop talking and leave. Immediately, it did. Jesus said to him, “Kenny, if you hadn’t done anything about that, I couldn’t have.”

It was a revelation to Hagin, who learned that the duty to resist the devil (James 4:7) was the believer’s and not God’s.

ANGELS RIDE ON THE WINGS OF PRAYERS

Underscoring the importance of persisting in prayer in spiritual warfare, Kong shared that angels ride on the wings of the prayers of believers, just as an archangel responded to Daniel’s fasting and praying in Daniel 10:12-13—but not before he overcame the “king of Persia”—the demonic strongman of the region. “Imagine if Daniel had stopped praying and fasting because nothing happened during these 21 days; his breakthrough would not have come!”

Satan is a deceiver, tempter and accuser, but Christians have three powerful weapons against him.

1)     The Word Of God
Jesus is the living Word, and the Bible, as the written Word are equally powerful, but only when it is being used.

2)     The Name Of Jesus
Believers have the legal authority (power of attorney) to use the name of Jesus to defeat the devices of satan. The name of Jesus is akin to a spiritual “blank check” that believers cash in when they wage spiritual warfare.

3)     The Blood Of Jesus
Satan’s favorite role is to be an accuser of the brethren, but as Revelation 12:10-11 states, the blood of Jesus is a reminder of what happened at the cross—the defeat of satan. Through the blood, Christians are now forgiven, righteous, sanctified and made the temple of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, believers need to “apply” the blood of Jesus through their testimonies.

Kong then shared a powerful account of how revival came to the Philippines through an American minister, Lester Sumrall. Back in 1953, a 17-year-old street prostitute named Clarita Villanueva was caught soliciting business from a plainclothes policeman.

Thrown into prison, Villanueva, whose mother was a fortune-teller involved in the occult, began to experience demonic attacks at night. When morning came, she would be found with puzzling, horrifying bruises and vicious bite marks all over her body.

Many doctors and psychiatrists were brought in to help her, but to no avail. As this point, God spoke to Sumrall to minister to her. Twice he resisted but on the third time, the instruction came with the warning that no revival would come to the Philippines if he did not do so.

Sumrall finally visited Villanueva in prison and performed a spectacular deliverance in front of national and international media by pleading the blood of Jesus over her. The result of this public display of God’s power was not just a free building permit for Sumrall’s future meetings—a total of 150,000 salvation decisions were made within six weeks at these meetings, and revival came to the nation.

Just as Jesus rebuked Satan in the wilderness by quoting Scripture, “It is written…”. Believers activate their weapons by speaking them. “Never get impressed by demons and their ‘powers’. Be impressed by God!” Kong proclaimed.

Quoting 1 Timothy 6:12, he also stated that spiritual warfare is a fight of faith, fought with the spiritual weapons of prayer, praise, profession and prophecy. Kong talked about Moshe Dayan, the famed Israeli military leader who demonstrated the power of profession when he proclaimed that Israel’s biggest weapon was Scripture from Psalms 121:1-2—“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth,” and subsequently led his greatly out-numbered troops to victory during the Six-Day War in 1967.

Human resource executive Jenna Ching, 32, said, “This year’s Arise & Build definitely feels different—during such a trying time, we are actually strengthening our resolve to keeping on building God’s house, to keep believing and speaking out our faith!”

Echoed 27-year-old consultant Edwin Ong, “Unlike the previous Arise & Build sessions I experienced since Hollywood days, this year’s different. I feel we are at the junction of something bigger to come. I’m looking forward to what God is going to do in City Harvest Church; history is in the making!” Andy Chia, 22, an undergraduate, added, “I am inspired to rise up to intercede and stand in the gap for the church. Money will come, revival will come!”

Do join City Harvest Church in its churchwide day of fasting on Oct. 10, from 6 a.m to 6 p.m.

Answering The Question About Phil Pringle’s Orthodoxy

Before watching this sermon of Phil Pringle at the C3 Church San Diego, imagine Phil transported backwards in time to the early church. Let us lay out the scene…

Philip of Corinth finally afforded to buy Askepios’ shrine at Epidauras, a place well known for healing people. With renovations complete (and statues of himself in the courts), he started preaching at his new church.

He managed to afford sophists to advertise and encourage local churches and early church fathers to visit his new church to advance the Kingdom of God.

With some church fathers present (Polycarp, Ignatius, Barnabas and Justin Martyr), the charismatic sophist wanted to prove to them how orthodox he could be. Irenaeus insisted on staying home to scribe how Philip was peddling gnostic beliefs and imitating pagan religions around him. Nevertheless, the ‘critic’ was finally persuaded to check out Philip’s church to hear what he had to say. The early church sat and listened as they listened to Philip’s sermon: Parable Of The Dog.

How do you think the early church father’s would have responded to Phil Pringle’s level of orthodoxy?

Before reading this article, please read Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4.

WHEN A PROPHECY FAILS…

In Part 3, we recorded Pringle saying,

“Immediately afterwards when that happens, when Warragamba Dam does spill over, that’s the time that the Lord will bring a fresh new move of the Holy Spirit all around Australia. And we’ll see a move of God like we have not seen before”. (Emphasis mine)

In Part 1, we encourage you to watch Pringle prophesy at the C3 Church at Oxford Falls, how revival was going to hit the building. In Part 4 we analysed the prophecy itself. In this final article, we will be looking to see if the prophecy was fulfilled at C3 Church Oxford Falls.

In looking at the above quote, when Warragamba Dam was reported full, was revival immediate? On the 4th of March 2012, Pringle preached a message titled Heartbeat – Servanthood. Their uploaded video showed us… There was no revival at the C3 Service. There  is a LOT of seats behind Pringle.

In that night time service on the 4th of March 2012, Mark Kelsey preached a message titled Heartbeat – Servanthood. C3’s uploaded video showed us… There was no revival. Drat!

The following Sunday morning (11/03/2012), Pringle preached a sermon titled the The Engine Room. Was their a revival? Were there queues outside wanting to come into the house of God?

What about that night service on the same day (11/03/2012)? Pringle preached a similar sermon with the same name: The Engine Room.

For Philip Day’s Saturday night session ‘Let there be light‘ (17/04/2012), it looked as though C3 disabled the camera that gave us the shots we needed to see the audience. But the next day on the 18th, while Peter Paauwe preached Breakthrough Part1, we saw… No revival. Empty seats lay scattered around the room. (Note them in the foreground and at the back of the room.)

By now, this prophecy is already looking ridiculous. But just in case someone justifies from C3, “God’s ways are not our ways’, we must continue. Maybe, God was going to move that night? Nope.

By this stage you may be thinking this is tedious. But we have to do this. Either God is going to bring a national revival through C3 or Phil Pringle is a false prophet. The following week on the Sunday morning, 25th of March, Pringle preached a sermon titled ‘The Engine Room: Connect’.

C3 didn’t upload a sermon that night. But we figured if their was a revival in that meeting, they would have definitely filmed it to prove to every other church that their church was the one with God’s blessing. The following week on Sunday morning 1st of April 2012, the joke was on C3 as Pringle preached ‘The Engine Room: Revive’. There was still NO revival.

That night while Pringle preached another sermon, seats were still empty (see them in the background).

A month has passed and Presence Conference is about to hit C3… Was God going to show up at C3 Church so Presence could experience revival? It seems logical that if God was going to move, it would be before the before Presence Conference. Why? So the international audience can bring back ‘God’ to their country God.

This would fulfill the prophecy of Pringle because God told him when the Warragamba Dam floods, it wasn’t just C3 church and all of Australia that were to experience revival. It was going to be a global revival. So when John Bevere spoke on Resurrection Sunday morning… was… there… revival? (Look at all the empty seats behind Pringle.)

That is a LOT of people short of a revival. Cross your fingers for Pringle, tonight God must show up or else…

So there is no prophecy fufillment. None.

… A PROPHECY FAILS…

But maybe God DID move after Presence Conference? If you’ve seen footage from the Presence Conference scattered around C3 Church Watch, you know revival did not turn up. If revival broke out at C3 Presence Conference in Darling Harbour – then God would contradict himself in the prophecy as mentioned in Part 4.

So was there going to be revival AFTER the Presence Conference? Steven Furtick preached that Sunday morning (15/04/2012), a message titled ‘Stay Behind The Guide’. You can see empty seats straight at the back of the auditorium.

Nope. What about the night service?

Did revival happen next Sunday morning (22/04/2012), while Pringle preached his sermon Connect? That’s also a lot of empty seats behind Pringle again.

Did revival come when Andrew Kubala preached ‘The power of a seed‘?

No. While the room is dark and smokey, if you look to the seat at back of the room, they are empty. More seats remained empty the following Sunday in Mark Kelsey’s sermon on the 29th of April. There was no revival.

The night service that Sunday wasn’t full either.

Pringle’s Inception movie sermon the following week on the 6th of May 2012, did not experience revival.

In Pringle’s continuation on Inception that night… there was no revival to be seen.

On mothers day on the 13th of May 2012, there was no revival while Pringle spoke on ‘A Mothers Worth‘.

Even that night, there was no revival.

When Mark Kelsey got up the following week to speak Sunday morning on the 20/05/2012, there was no revival.

However, he had this to say to the congregation in the giving message. Was he saying this because people were feeling cheated from Pringle’s false prophecy?

“I don’t know about you but I get frustrated sometimes. We have got one of the greatest churches in the world, one of the greatest worship teams. We’ve definitely got the greatest pastor in the world. We’ve got the greatest pastoral team. The greatest connect leaders, what have you. We’ve been given Christ. We have the bible. We have the New Testament. We have the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. And yet people sit there and go, “Yeah well. It’s not quite enough is it? You know we gotta…”.” – Mark Kelsey, Justin Richards, 35:47-36:19, http://www2.myc3church.net/videos/justin-richards, Night Service, 20/05/2012. (Accessed 11/06/2012.)

Of course it’s not enough Mark Kelsey. Didn’t you hear what the “greatest pastor in the world” prophesied? Didn’t you hear yourself say “I get frustrated sometimes”? Why is Mark Kelsey chastising the sheep in his congregation when it is his prophet that prophesied falsely that revival was going to come?

In spite of this, Justin Richards spoke that night. No revival.

The following week (27th of May 2012), a speaker by the name of Jamie Haith, spoke at C3’s morning service… Where revival was still a no-show.

Jamie Haith spoke that night where revival still refused to turn up.

Then on the 3rd of June, Pringle gave his morning money fleecing sermon, where revival still remained absent. Ironic that Josh Kelsey made the claim of Phil Pringle “We have the best leader in the world” (23:25), when this was the video camera shot that followed:

In the continuation of Pringle’s groom-a-thon that night, the storm of revival did not turn up.

CONCLUSION

C3 said the dam overflowed on the 3rd of March. We have recorded the ‘spiritual’ status of each Sunday service to the 3rd of June. This is a three month period.

It is safe to say that:

God DID NOT say, ““Immediately afterwards when that happens, when Warragamba Dam does spill over, that’s the time that the Lord will bring a fresh new move of the Holy Spirit all around Australia”

God DID NOT say, “Watch me. That thing is going to overflow. And as it overflows, a revival is going to come through the nation.”

God DID NOT say, “the power of God is gonna touch this city with revival”.

God DID NOT say, “the Spirit of God is gonna fall on this nation”.

God DID NOT say, “the power of God is gonna pour down out of heaven”.

God DID NOT say, “If you will build my house, if you will commit yourselves and not give yourselves comfort but will build the house, I will fill this place with my glory”.

God DID NOT say, “these [c3 church] seats will be full!”

God DID NOT say, “Every service you come, you will queue in line to be in the house of God”.

This prophecy is a lie. A scam. We have thoroughly examined in all five articles that Phil Pringle prophesied falsely. There is no escape room for Pringle.

Not only did he mislead his entire church, he mislead thousands of Christians around Sydney. Not only did he also mislead thousands of Christians around Sydney but also across Australia. Not only did he deceive thousands of Christians across Australia, he also mislead thousands of Christians across the world who attended his Presence Conference 2012 and watched him falsely prophesy online.

To recap all that we’ve explored in this series of articles, in:

Part 1 – we looked at how C3 purposely distorted information at their Sydney Presence Conference, taking snippets and screen grabs fromNews Articles and blogs to portray the world as wrong and Phil Pringle as some Godly prophet.

Part 2 – we looked at how C3 and Pringle mislead people to believe that God used Pringle against media and ‘false prophets’ to prophesy that the Warragamba Dam would be full again. We examined how C3 and Pringle used this prophecy twice to advertise and elevate their movement to Christians and churches locally and globally. We explored that it was highly likely that Pringle prophesied out of reaction against those he dislikes and pride.

Part 3 – we looked at Pringle’s further insight to his Warragamba Dam prophecy to help us understand the actual prophecy itself and what he thought this meant. He informed us that C3 met the conditions God said through him so C3 can experience revival.

Part 4 – we analysed the Warragamba Dam prophecy and proved it to be false.

Part 5 – we examined every service for three months to see if revival would break out “immediately”. This was from the time Warragamba Dam overflowed (03/03/2012) to June (03/06/2012). We have proven that the prophecy has not come to pass with it’s promise of a revival.

The right thing for Pringle to do is to humble himself, apologize and step down, admitting he has done Christianity a massive disservice. How many Christians will have their faith shaken or shipwrecked because C3 convinced them to put their faith and hope in the words of a false prophecy?

We would like to know if any information in our articles is wrong. If you find any information that is misleading in our investigation of Phil Pringle’s false Warragambe Dam prophecy, please Contact us at c3churchwatch@hotmail.com.

Arch Bishop Phil Pringle Asks C3 Atlanta To Buy Him A Jet

Rebekah Pringle, daughter of Phil Pringle tweeted,

“wishes God would hurry up and buy our family a plane Dang it” – Rebekah Pringle, http://twitter.com/RebekahFaith, 11:53 PM Aug 20th from TweetDeck, 2010.

Whether Rebekah was serious or not, Phil Pringle in C3 Church Atlanta attempted to  get the congregation to buy him a jet… And he was dead serious.

“… At least that’s from checking in, security and all that. So in a month that’s 48 hrs. In a year that is 2 days so that’s- that is 24 days a year. Twenty four days in a year- that’s almost a month a year I can save myself. Ok, so over ten years- over twelve years – that’s a year. In one year I have saved myself one year of my life. One year of my life is worth a whole lot more then what any jet is worth or anything like that so – amen!

If you – would like to buy that jet [congregation starts to laugh] for us… This weekend – I don’t know what you’re laughing about. I’m serious. [More laughing] And you just go right ahead and slap that black amex down on some counter. And ahh… we’ll be flying, amen! Praise Jesus! Ahaha!” – Phil Pringle, C3 Church Atlanta 8/8/10, http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/8802074, 08/08/2010.

Later, Pringle promotes himself, his false 2020 Vision and starts speaking faith/prophecy. Read the rest of the transcript below.

[Continued] “You know it is – It’s always a pleasure to be here. We have a vision of planting a thousand churches around the world so I have no hesitation playing videos and material that promotes our vision – what we’re doing.

One of the great things we’re doing right now is an online college. We’ve just started three weeks ago and we already have five hundred students. Now to plant these – another seven hundred churches in the next eight years – nine years, we need another seven hundred leaders, seven hundred worship leaders, seven hundred methodist administrators and ahh – oh just administrators will do. You know. And if we could have administrators like Jeff, song leaders like Joe, that would be phenomenal. But even moreso to have leaders like Dean Sweetman who was on the online college now. He’s our latest addition. I don’t know if you guys can play that for us now that would be great.

Fantastic! So your pastor is featured in this. You can [go] on line college. You can do it at home on your own or as a connect group. Or as another group – maybe a good way to get people in to meet the Lord. New York City Church, our church in Time Square, is doing it.  And they in their first week had, I think,  two people come to Christ who were just attending the college. And so it can be used in all kinds of opportunities and ways that will really, really be a blessing.

And a- so I’d encourage you to get a hold of that. Get a hold of my books and things like that.

We’re about to start a church in Shang- ah! In Hong Kong! And ah, we probably will start in Shanghai as well. And ah- maybe you’ve got someone in Toronto you can send to help us out. Although they don’t speak French down there and ah – it’s alright! But we need to be starting churches everywhere and we’re sending people down to Hong Kong.

And I’ve just had ‘You the Leader’ [Pringle’s Book] released in Chinese. So that’s a really good thing. Although you’d already know that if you were following me on Twitter. And so if you’re not, go ahead and sign up. We can all stay in touch. We can find out. It’s a connector. It’s just brilliant in staying in touch with one another.

And I know you might be saying, “Oy yeah-roar-rru-roar” (plays an ogre) Get over that and just get on it! It’s a fantastic tool that God has given us to connect with each other all around the world and just to know what we’re all doing. It’s fantastic! And I love all technology that is helping us achieve those ends. There are gonna be some negatives but we don’t focus on those things. Amen!

I’m gonna say this, ‘It’s like, even though I’ve been in Singapore last weekend, speaking to that church, (it’s not a C3 church); and I’m going from here to LA, (we’re speaking at C3 LA tonight- while doing a live painting); they’re going to Jakarta to a thing called the ‘World Harvest Conference’ which is a huge conference they have in Indonesia. And when I go to those places, I am like a guest speaker. It’s not really my show – it’s not my place. So to give- give leadership, is not what they’re looking for. They’re looking for ministry. And if you’re gonna be a leader, you need to have ministry. But the leadership is limited to a sphere of people that you lead. And you guide and you influence and you direct and shape the culture of that.

So whenever I’m in one of our churches, I’m like – I just pick up that burden and cause that I am going to shape the culture here and feel like the pastor here for the day and uh – talk to you about where we’re going. Not that ah you know I need to announce where Dean is going and you’re aware of all that. But as the leader of our movement, I know that I need to be promoting our cause and keeping you on the same page as where we’re going so that we’ve all got one mind – we’ve got one purpose – one spirit. And the delight of dealing with Dean and Jill and the whole team here, is that everyone is so on the same page, we hardly even need to talk. We’ve just got the vibe and we’re going in the same direction.

And so my job in coming into these situations is to be like that!

Ken[?] and John called me the arch bishop the other night. But it’s sort of like that to present to you the over-arching culture and vision of where we’re going. And I really enjoy doing that.

So I speak a little stronger. A little more cause and direction and leadership orientated, when I’m in our C3 churches. I want you to come to me to Deuteronomy 8:18, here this morning. And in the next thirty minutes, I would really like to be able to change your life for you. And if you’ll let me just tinker with your brain, I reckon I can do that- and I mean REALLY change your life. In your – in your world. And both in your domestic world and in your church world.

And every time I’m in any kind of service, I’m believing for God to bring at least one miracle into a person’s life. And while you’re just sitting there, I am convinced that a miracle is going to happen in somebody’s life here today. The miracle I believe that will happen, is that you will get a house. And I would like to think that all of our people will own their own homes, amen! In Jesus name!

And I know some of you would like a medical miracle. Well I’m believing God that can happen as well. But I really have a word that some of you hear today will go out of this place and you’ll buy yourself a house. You’ll have a house and you’ve always wanted a house and now you’re gonna get one, in Jesus name. Amen! – Phil Pringle, C3 Church Atlanta 8/8/10, http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/8802074, 08/08/2010.

God gave us His teachings in His word. It is not our job as Christians in our postmodern world to apply new meaning to His words. To do so in light of scripture is to twist or add to Gods Word.

Unfortunately Phil Pringle is a master of manipulating words and meaning in the bible. At the same time, his idea of a ‘correct’ definition can help other Christians understand what he is talking about.

Please feel free to use this translation key when talking to people from C3. This may help you lead, teach or give C3 goers a greater understanding how to understand their own pastor. This article will be updated to inform readers Pringle’s various new definitions of key words in Christian language.

GRACE is…

“This is the grace (unmerited favor) of God – if you are in Christ, you have fulfilled ALL God’s requirements to bless you.” – Phil Pringle, http://philpringle.com/2009/11/01/blessed-not-cursed/, 01/11/09. (Also found at http://philpringle.wordpress.com/2009/11/01/.) (Later accessed 01/07/2012.)

“God’s favour and God’s grace are interchangeable.” – Phil Pringle, Connect Group Notes: Favour,  02/05/2010.

TRUTH is…

“The key to truth becoming real is faith.” – Phil Pringle, SEVEN BIG THINGS That Make Life Work, Baptisms, pg. 71.

FAITH is…

“Faith is positive.”– Phil Pringle, Faith, Faith And Prayer – Speak It, 2001, pg 73.

“Faith is like courage & confidence, abandonment, uninhibited, unintimidated, fearless, fearless believing – all of those things are what faith is. A positive mindset, confidence and courage in your heart. Thinking big, not thinking small.” – Phil Pringle, Ps Phil Pringle: Get Ready For God, http://www2.myc3church.net/2003119ampp, Sermon (AM), 20/03/2011

“Faith is a spirit. It is an attitude. It is confidence in the heart.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, Faith Is A Feeling, 2001, pg 12.

“Faith is knowing something that no-one else does.” – Phil Pringle, Faith,  Faith Is A Feeling, 2001, pg 12.

“Faith is a feeling” – Phil Pringle, Faith, Faith Is A Feeling, 2001, pg 21.

“Let me say this to you. Faith itself is a feeling.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, Faith Is A Feeling, 2001, pg 21.

“Faith is an attitude you have within you.“ – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 22.

“The source of faith is the Word of God.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, Faith Is A Feeling, 2001, pg 14.

“Faith is the collateral of heaven. It is what you use to trade with in heaven.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, Faith Is A Feeling, 2001, pg 13.

“Faith is the master key that unlocks all of heaven’s doors. It’s the collateral of God. It’s the currency of heaven. Without it, we are unable to purchase anything from God. He issues the invitation, “Come, buy wine and milk, without price, without money.” How do we buy without money? With faith, that’s how.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 53.

“Faith is a creative force. When we operate by faith, we employ the creative power of God.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 66.

“Faith is seeing what can’t be seen..” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 98.

“Faith is like an additional sense. A spiritual sense… Thus we walk by faith, that is, an inner substance, an inner reality that cannot be seen by anyone else. The conclusion is that we don’t wait until we receive a thing before we believe that we have it. We get it before we get it.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 56.

“Faith is the major key that opens every door in the Kingdom. It is a master key. Therefore it is imperative that we understand the ways of faith. Because these keys are the ways of God the natural man cannot receive them. They are spiritually understood. They are foolishness to the natural man. When a gift of the Spirit operates. Then we are able to impart that gift to others and teach them how to function in it also.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 58.

“We believe that we have the answer to our prayer before our five senses tell us so. The Amplified Bible interprets Hebrews 11:1 as “Faith perceives as a reality what is not revealed to the five senses.”

Faith is like an additional sense.

WORD OF GOD is...

“When we have no room for the Word of God in our lives we have no room for success.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 14.

“There is a direct correlation between the measure of God’s Word in our lives and the measure of prosperity we enjoy.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 14.

“The Word of God is none other than Jesus… When we speak the Word we are speaking Christ into that situation… ” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 90.

“The Word of God is the power of God unto salvation. This means that Christ and the Word of God are one and the same.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 91.

“The Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit.” – Phil Pringle, Faith, 2001, pg 169.

Below are five youtube videos of Phil Pringle speaking on ‘Financial Excellence’ in his evening service on 22/05/2011. Comparing Pringle’s morning message to his night time message, Phil Pringle not only demonstrates a complete lack of biblical knowledge and resonsibility or accountability to handling the scriptures correctly, Pringle exhibits hypocrisy. In his morning message he said,

“As we launch into this part of the year – tax returns, all these other areas, finances become an important subject of the media and of our own lives as we try to tidy things up as we come to the end of the year, etc-etc. And especially in the Kingdom of God, it’s important that you and I have this area under control, that we understand what this is about. Because finances are important.

I know that there’s this feeling sometimes, like Christians we intend to say well, ‘Well [shows disdain on his face] it’s not about money‘. And I agree, it’s not. But money’s not unimportant and I have a healthy respect for the power of money. And so did Jesus.” – Phil Pringle, Ps Phil Pringle: Financial Excellence Part 2, http://www2.myc3church.net/videos/ps-phil-pringle-financial-excellence-part-2, Sermon (PM), 22/05/2011.

Rather than agree money is not an important focus for Christians to have, you will see in this sermon Pringle stresses the importance of money.

A solid critique of this sermon will be up later this year.

Below are six youtube videos of Phil Pringle speaking on ‘Financial Excellence’ in his morning service in 22/05/2011. Unfortunately for someone who has a doctorate in theology, Phil Pringle demonstrates a complete lack of biblical knowledge and shows no resonsibility or accountability to handling the scriptures correctly, especially when it comes to finances.

A critique of this sermon will be up later this year.
